I once read a study on this showing that american teenagers have some of the least comforting body langauge of all western countries, its either rough/violent or neurotic self-soothing.. Whereas most other european and western countries its normal to be affectionate with friends and family in various ways, and social violence and neuroticsm is way less.. And ive seen that influence in my country as american media has taken over and I hate the change! Its a terrible loss, just from the media influence on norms here. Its so inriguing to see this compilation which makes it so clear!
