I think that it is not applied at OS X 10.13.5. When apply then command not found error displayed. I think that the reason is .py file not have 10.13.5 code. Please update 10.13.5. Thanks.
Out of curiosity, where is the recovery boot software located? It can't be on the SSD, is it a dedicated storage, is it part of the BIOS? Something else? Just curious.
Trusteft if you are formatted as apfs, U must create the recovert partition. U can try to recover via network. but Its a completely obsolete OS. (Disk utility is the v.1012) ... your risk (not apple support)

After entering my password at the end of the sequence, the command prompt in Terminal says "unknown file, won't backup (md5=58703942f8d4e5d499673c42cab0c923)" Any advice? I have a triple external monitor setup, and two of them have just been rendered useless because this hack is no longer working. :/

What's the update with this? I just picked up this dock for £35 from Facebook marketplace! Had no idea it wouldn't work, who knew thunderbolt 3 accessories wouldn't be compatible with thunderbolt 3 computers! Guess I got another 60w charger haha

TB15 have a design problem. Dell users (including me) have been experiencing random disconnection of USB/DP/Ethernet due to overheat issues. Unless you have made customization on the hardware to solve that, I will say return the TB15 and go for some other replacements.

Well, I use TB15 with 240w adapter(same as alienware), so macbook can get 58w power supply. Plus, it connected with my other three harddrives, one of them will be used to edit, so basically, it's very stable and for me, a perfect solution 😁
4K is absolutely fine, I use Dell 34 Ultra Sharp Curved monitor, but instead of HDMI, I choose DP connection. WD15 doesn't support Thunderbolt3, only USB Typec. So it's ur choice.
