St. Paul’s byelection: Trudeau, Freeland address "disappointing” loss of Toronto stronghold

- Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke out Tuesday after the Conservatives snatched the historical Toronto stronghold of St. Paul's from his governing Liberal Party in Monday's federal byelection.
“I hear people’s concerns and frustrations,” Trudeau said, adding that his party is focused on getting Canadians “through these tough times.”
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said the result in the St. Paul’s byelection was “certainly disappointing” but that the prime minister continues to have the support of the Liberal Party.
“We know we have to work even harder delivering for Canadians [and] winning back the trust,” she said.

In decades of watching Canadian politics and government, I have never seen a crew like these Liberals who are more out of touch with Canadians, yet protest so strongly that they "understand" how we feel.
It is not just record immigration. How many of these immigrants are gangsters, criminals, illegals and welfare recipients? Why proper background check was not performed. And, look at the poverty level in Canada, 25+%, one of the worst in the world. And, our taxes keep on increasing.
