Let's keep in mind that the liberal candidate in St. Paul's was very close to winning. The conservative candidate got 42% of the vote and the majority of voters stayed home. They were likely lefty voters. I would not be so proud yet. There are still too many comatose Canadians, especially in the city inner cores.

It's an embarrassment for the entire Liberal caucus. They were all there canvasing the riding. People are fed up with Liberal NDP policies and the way they've run the country into the ground.
It makes me wonder who is calling the shots in Canada. Trudeau or Freeland and it is somewhat clear to me the person pulling all the strings might actually be the latter. You can't just raise your hand and say I am going to run for the constituency for Liberals. Someone has to sponsor that person within the ranks. This seat is a "reward" seat for a Liberal. It's obvious Leslie Church received the reward and was put into place to run for the St. Paul Riding by Freeland cause she is actually the Chief of Staff for her and its so obious Leslie was getting the lifelong reward from the Liberals. It is supposed to be a cushy and well paid job (and guaranteed MP pension seat) for the next decade.
