I did my first run today and I don't think people are giving this shoe enough credit. It's not a 2022 super soft, marshmallow like shoe, but neither was the original turbos (I had both OG versions). I have the endorphin speed 3, Invincible, Glideride 3, Streakfly, 1080v12 and tri noosa 14 in the rotation. You need to give the new turbo a try. Especially if you like a break every now and then from the super soft stuff. Also think the upper and midsole will break-in for an even better ride over a little time. Already felt slight break-in during the first run.
I have the gel nimbus 24, the next nature is more responsive and less soft?
It’s still a great daily trainer. The midsole is firm compared to the Turbo, but really soft compared to other brands. In terms of weight it is lighter in my 11.5 than my Novablast 3 in my size 11, ( and everyone is applauding ASICS for that weight drop). The stack is higher and the ride is much more stable. It is no longer a speed shoe, but it is now a great daily trainer that you won’t look weird in.
Yeah I’m really enjoying my pair as a daily trainer as well. Agree about the stack and also found the width of the midsole to be more than I expected, feels pretty stable to me too.
I love my Nature Next Turbos. Not sure why all the hate. As mentioned above, it’s an amazing daily trainer, and no longer a speed shoe. I actually enjoy it more than the Turbo 1 and 2!

How does it compare to the Novablast 3 in term of daily training in your opinion
@@seangreen7293 if I could only keep one it would be the Novablast. The Upper is better and the cushioning is deeper. The Turbo is much more stable and I can feel the midsole breaking in which can make it a better option for some speed work. I think both are top non plated options available right now.

Was wishing they would of used the original zoomX foam and not recycled pieces of ZoomX , hearing a lot of mixed reviews so far, I’ll wait for the novablast 3👍
I bought this on heavy discount. I prefer it way more than the react infinity 3 as a daily trainer.

I have now done 57 miles in my pair over the last 6 days - including a 16 mile run and a 400m interval session. Not bad for a fashion shoe :) True it is not quite the same as before but certainly has a similar low to the ground vibe and the weight (at least in my UK 13/US 14) is still easily lighter than Nike's current "proper" daily trainers like the Peg 39, Vomero 16, Invincible 1 or 2 and way lighter than the Zoom Fly 5. Indeed it is more or less the same weight as my Alphafly 2 and only a little bit more than the original version. There is a bit more padding in this new version than the very stripped down Turbo 2 which I think accounts for some of the difference. Above all it is a bit different and put a smile on my face when I was first wore it and without thinking I would I have put it on every day since - maybe just to see if it really is a running shoe. I think it is and a decent all rounder at that. It is not a racer but the Turbo never was for me although you could of course. I suspect most runners won't like "feeling the road" a bit in this day and age and yeah there are probably "better" options but do they look as good...
It’s different for the better. If the name were different this shoe would be lauded.
Mmmaaaannnnn I was gonna wear them as a fashion shoe until I put them on, and the knit collar was scratching and rubbing my ankles and I had a vision of getting cut up from it. So I put them back in the box for return. 😔

IMO I love this shoe, true it’s not the original but my body did not like the super shoes so this is a great option rather than running on the Pegasus for all my runs.
The original pegasus turbo and 2 was half zoomx and half react not full zoomx
He means full zoom x as in virgin zoom x, not recycled zoom x

Nike had made a big mistake to discontinue the Pegasus Turbo series and an even bigger mistake to replace the light/soft/fast/comfortable Turbo 2 by this one!
It does not have a squek sound on tiles or smooth surface?
I don’t get the fashion shoe take. You love the Boston 10 which is heavier, firmer and fits even more narrow. How is this a fashion shoe but that isn’t? I get people being disappointed when comparing this to the original Turbo, but the fashion shoe take is wildly inaccurate IMO. I guess Nike made the shoe look too good lol.

Fashion shoe lol, you need to put some miles in on them,very good daily running shoe.
I will do an update after I get some serious miles and you may be right! It is certainly different from the originals, so maybe I was coming at this from the wrong angle.

I agree with Matt. It’s a casual shoe that Nike is marketing as a performance runner.

@@FatUglySadMan 6 painful miles. Between the upper and recycled ZoomX this shoe isn’t a winner for me.
I won’t take the time to do more. After 10+ years of testing shoes I know when to cut my losses and quickly move on from a shoe. I won’t do a full performance review bc that’s not enough miles but my spidey sense tells me this shoe will only work for a small niche of runners.
I’m sure these will work for some people and those people will get pairs on deep sales in a few months.
Nike’s designers are clueless. Why don’t they just copy the endorphin speed and do it better. Literally just make a zoomx endorphin speed and sell it for 170 and it would sell. And No I don’t mean the tempo next%. That shoe was an attempt, but a shitty attempt.
Nike has some strange ideas. NB, Saucony and Asics are killing it atm.
Because they’d rather have people spend $250 on Vaporflys lol. I live in LA and I see way more people jogging in Vaporflys than I see people running in Endorphin Speeds.
Nike can afford to be lazy because they are huge.
