Thanks so much for sharing. We are calling tomorrow to get a consult. After dealing with cleaning tile for the last 50 years, I want something sleek looking and easy to clean. We live in a high humidity climate which makes keeping the mold out of the grout lines almost impossible.
$6000...ouch. Just seems expensive to me. My dad redid our whole bathroom with new tub/shower, flooring, sink, toilet for less than that. Of course, that labor was free.
Wow I'm so glad you told me about this video thank you so much My inspector's coming next week I believe to measure everything and at least I have a ballpark figure because of course everything relies on the variables of the height the dimensions the length and I loved what you had shared about your bathroom since it was done less than 3 weeks ago or 3 months ago bottom line is it's in my budget so far based on what I'm hearing so I want to thank you for telling me as I left the comment on your other video which I saw today so happy to hear and see this video and I'm so happy for you and your family I hope that your business works out and more importantly thank you so much for giving explicit details about your process it's always for me a nightmare dealing with home repairs I can't tell you how long it took to put the impact windows in my house I live in Florida anyway thank you so much Good luck God bless and thank you for your sharing. 😘👍
Wow, that is pricey and doesn't include flooring, paint, vanity, lighting or anything else that would be needed for a remodel. I remember receiving less than that for an entire bathroom remodel. Of course this was several years ago so maybe prices have changed or else maybe I live in a different market.
The smell of your spray-on seems to be like the bathtub reglazing we had done. It's better to wait and spend the money on converting to Shower or get a new tub. Definitely lingers for a week. Those remodels you see on television are with no one home.
Not everyone can just get a new tub. I just bought a beautiful condo that needs renovating, on the second floor of a great building. It would be extremely destructive and laborious to remove the heavy iron bathtub in there, just to deal with peeling, flaking paint some idiot decided to slap white paint on before listing the place. (They did the stupid square tiles too). I could potentially cause damage to the elderly gentleman beneath me, his ceiling, and end up with probably a lesser quality bathtub for the replacement because they don't make anything like that anymore! This would be a lot of time out to get a contractor to do something this extensive, we don't have until December to wait to get things started, other projects are waiting on that one to be done first and I have a high mortgage on a current condo I've got to sell. So time is a factor for some of us, the sooner a bathroom and home is ready the better because sometimes people are in situations where they need to sell their other home. This was a great location and I don't regret buying it, but "just put in a new tub" isn't as simplified as you seem to think or make it sound. Perhaps in this person's situation, she should have replaced the bathroom if it was doable. Especially if they are generating income from it. I am going to refinish my bathtub because it's cast iron metal and good quality, and replace the walls and install beautiful modern slabs of tile that are large & resemble marble. Complete with a new converted one nozzle fixture that the place needed, new toilet, lots else. Someone times people have a lot of projects they need to spread the budget over. So remodeling one room, and putting a new bathtub in may not be feasible. If you buy a property that needs a lot of things spread out, and you want to knock it out before moving in, (who wants to replace carpeting or paint WHILE living in there?), you have to spread your money across the areas, removal of an old heavy tub isn't always feasible but more so isn't practical if not necessary. I think I agree with you on this particular lady though, they should just probably remodel and install a new tub or something modern. They're even making money on it and still don't want to go all out. I don't think she's my cup of tea. Once she mentioned wanting to do air b&b 🙄 I pretty much knew this is gonna be one of those annoying "trend" promoters, I'll never understand why anyone would want strangers in their home. That's just me. An the fact that they spent a fortune on a plastic thing, a band-aid to cover up their mess, goes against the norms as far as I am concerned. Covering up your bathtub/shower, rather than deal with it!? You don't just cover over your tub with another plastic "tub", that sends warnings off on my head of potential problems. I find her obnoxious & annoying to listen to. I probably won't bother with the rest of this video. I wanted a quick review out of curiosity, not an air BNB stupid nonsense analogy.

Sounds like a good move for you guys! Grout is so hard to clean!
Keeping them in mind for when we potentially have a house in need of this!
Yes!
Thanks for watching ! Don't forget to like and subscribe.

This is a long story. But the need to know details are good.
Wow that's expensive but definitely worth it long term.
Very true not cheap!
Would have liked to see more pictures
Thanks for the feedback.

Well this is why you need to check labels and not use such toxic products. Wow. Bad for your health, bad for the environment.
