Hi, Thanks for the video (and the alarm :-)). There is one important step which I think is missing and had me scratching my head until I read the manual more fully. Before you connect, if you have not already configured your B4xx-M module, (B426 in my case) you first need to program position 81 with a 1 otherwise you can't connect (for a Solution 3000 in my case). Might be good to include that in there somewhere?
Hey Paul, I'm doing everything you're saying but I'm still getting a "Communication failure. Check Control Panel Type, Customer number or other related parameters on link" I even tried the cloud option and it will not connect either because I also set it up with cloud and I put the Cloud ID in and it's still not working.
I successfully connect to the panel. I change the zone names and also the Entry times. I save the settings then get "Failed to transmit the data" when I select "Download to control panel". Any ideas?
Hi - Just had success in connecting A-Link to my system - I did have to turn off my VPN to allow A-Link to fing the B426M but once found the system works fine. I have changed the web port to 8020 to allow it to be found on DynDns but I have not tried it out yet I also need to Reserve the Local IP address for the same reason. Will need to do further programming for remote access and control but so far the System 3000 has been working ok for the last year. Yy!
Toni Nelson it’s always a good idea to check your transformer with a volt meter. You should be getting around 18Vac at the terminals on the board. If you are getting this and the battery is still not charging you might have an issue with the charging circuit on the main board or a dead or damaged battery.
I have just a code to arm/disarm the system with network access to IP module using default password. I have already tried default codes like 1234 and 2580 etc. Can I reconfigure it over network to set my own codes ?
You can only change codes in the system if you have a Master Code or Installer Code. The Alink software won't connect if the Installer Code in Alink doesn't match what's in panel you are trying to connect to. If you don't have any codes, the only options is to default the panel and start again.
@@CheapAlarmParts thanks for your comments ! If I default the panel I am assuming it won't reset the B426 module also and I would still be able to connect through same network IP?
While i was checking this option with you the cunning installer I had disabled B426 module remotely since he has master code & the cloud ID both and I cant change the master code without knowing it. No wonder he is referring to your videos to learn about Bosch security system because he himself was a junk !!! :)
Cheap Alarm Parts I am good for now but still have same query. If I default my Bosch 2000 panel then will it be accessible using B426 module on network for programming? Thanks
Please, make sure the installer code in the data base is the same in the panel, Make sure the Panel Serie in the top is the same to your Solution and Also, make sure your panel type is the correct.
Another great video in the series!
Software downloaded.
Now looking forward to the system programming guide you alluded to in this video.
Hi Guys Great video Thank you , Will the 2 ch Bosch RX remote panel EDM345F2 work with the 2000 series panel
Great video. My only suggestion would be to add chapter markers for easy fast forwarding :)
Thanks for the tip!

Great tip! Yes, this video presumes that you already have a communications method set up (be that IP, Cloud or GSM).

Same here, did you ever find a solution?

How would I do this with the Control Panel via Phone number or Control Panel IP address?
Please help I keep getting this error Fail to connect to panel. SLL connection failed. I have tried everything.
Having trouble downloading this software. Has it moved to somewhere else?

What happens if anew battery will not charge is transformer faulty
