This is a very useful video..I keep a few aquariums stocked with this particular species..because I find them so foolproof and yet so peaceful ..really integrate well with other species and form impressive mixed shoals without fin nipping or fighting and they seem immune from many of the current health problems associated with some of the other commonly traded tetras like parcheirodon innesi....I'm glad to see them in a decent flow..because that's how I tend to keep mine along with a healthy growth of live plants..and plenty of light..excellent video..thankyou..and I'm trying to I.d. some of the other tetra species there so I can maybe set up a biotope..

Thanks a lot. For a very long time I was looking for a biotope of black neon. This is my favorite schooling fish. Thank you for the video. I wish you success and good luck in everything.

One major hotel development away from oblivion. These areas need to be preserved.

    Прекрасное видео..! 👍
Там, в начале, растения на Людвигию супер ред похожи.. :)
Ну конечно, я знаю, что супер ред не природный вид.. :)

Is that Ludwigia or a Rotala that is so red?..where is the high Co2 coming from for that kind of plant growth? Great vid..this has to be one of the most tropical looking streams on youtube. Paradise.

It's a form of Ludwigia indica I think. Basically, clear water and intense tropical sun. Co2 is only really needed in aquaria because of the small water volume...in rivers and lakes it is present due to larger surface area and often contain lots of co2 from terrestrial plants that is carried into the river/lake via the soil/groundwater.

Thank you for the video! Is it the Taquari river itself or is it a tributary of the Taquari river? If it is a tributary of the Taquari river, what is its name?
