Thank you so much Bettina, I really really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and gorgeous piece of artwork from those amazing pieces of alcohol ink pieces that you have. I love ❤❤❤❤ this piece and you could hopefully create something similar to this in the future. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Aww, thank you! That is nice to hear. I think sometimes I get caught up too much in how the algorithm will mess everything up if I change my content too much too quickly. But I believe you're correct and thank you for that reminder. ❤️💕
Ooh, macrame is something I've tried as well. But I think my brain has a hard time remembering the steps... Sigh. I so love hearing that people are also creating while watching creative videos! 💕❤️
You're absolutely welcome! Every now and then I throw something out there to see if it lands, and then I hear it inspired people to join in the fun, and that makes me super happy to hear. I appreciate your comment! ❤️💕
An interesting work, I like it. Thank you for allowing me to take part in your colorful process. A very laborious affair indeed. In earlier times I also created very beautiful collages; everything was still very "bound" back then. It's much more fun to use mixed materials. It's also good to have a few alternatives available for variety. I wish you a nice weekend, take care 💖
It's definitely new to me. I don't even think I did this much as a kid tbh. But I love taking myself out of my comfort zone and trying something new. It keeps me busy and out of my routine. Thank you so much for watching! ❤️💕
Today’s video is very different from your usual, yet still creative, colorful and fun. I enjoyed sitting back and watching you work while not having to peal paper, make decisions or get my fingers sticky with glue! 🤪 Very relaxing, and your end product is lovely! ❤️
Haha, thanks for watching and enjoying the video. I have to say, the sticky fingers are something I need to get used to again. We'll see how long this phase will stay 😆💕❤️
I really enjoyed watching you collage this week. For some unknown reason I had to do a search for Friday's video. It was well worth the search. That was interesting to use a popsicle stick-like stick and the masking tape roll to flatten and smooth the pieces. I loved the different size circle punches. I loved the mix of cut and torn edges. The last time I did collage was high school. I remember my mom cutting her first cardboard quilt patterns when I was in highschool. So parents should not dispair. You will be able to make time. You just have to be ready for it.
How strange you had to go look for this week's video. But then again, I will never understand how TH-cam does things. The popsicle stick is a bone folder that came with a card making kit, but now that you mention it, that could totally work as well! And the tape roll worked so much better to flatten everything down, instead of using my sticky fingers, haha. Thanks for watching 💕❤️
Oh I love this! I am really into collage work now. I use a gel plate to create a lot of my collage fodder, along with paint, stamps, and stencils. I think it’s great that you want to explore other avenues of art!
Yay! That's why I keep wanting to put different things out there, for others to feel inspired to try. But also to step out of one's comfort zone every now and then. Thank you so much for watching!
I like to create small things. Right now I'm challenging myself to crochet a tiny gnome. I am using very small scraps of some of my favourite yarn to do it. Your video is great and very interesting, especially watching you create with your beautiful leftovers.
Thank you and I'm glad others enjoy working tiny. My kid has crochet teeny things with just thread, and I was amazed! I don't think I could take it to that level anymore. Apparently, as you get older your eyes stop not working so well? LOL. Thank you for sharing your creativity with me!
This is fantastic! I did something similar long ago, using tweezers to hold tiny pieces of papers while placing a dot of glue and placing them where I wanted them. I love your bright colors and striped pattern! Bravo!!
Bettina, today I visited an art exhibition of Fuencisla Francis. Her work of art reminded me of all the pieces you have cut and saved. I can imagine your art in comparison to hers. Perhaps you can find her work online.
The result is terrific and I appreciate your honesty about the downsides of this kind of project. Your list of supplies doesn’t show the needle-point glue. Is it just white glue you put in an empty squeeze bottle? Or ???
Shoot, every now and then I forget to list an item. I will list it today. But yes, it's just pva glue, thinned down with a little bit of water. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!
Hi there! I just love what you do… What is the purple tool in your right hand? I clicked on the precision tool you have a link to, but that doesn’t seem to be right and I’m missing something?
Thank you! OK, so that is a tool with a sticky tip primarily used to pick up tiny jewels to bedazzle things. I bought that particular one at Michaels, but I don't love it. That's why I went looking for a different kind and listed it below. I like the linked one because you can sharpen the tip if it gets less sticky. I hope this helps.
So many beautiful colours 🤩

Very therapeutic to watch while I do macramé.

I absolutely love how this turned out Bettina! ❤
Aww, thank you so much! 💕❤️
Fantastic
Beautiful. I think I'm going to use this as an inspiration for a painting. Should be fun. Thanks for sharing. 👍🙂

This would make a fabulous first page glued into a brand new art journal!! (wink wink nudge nudge)
Haha, 🤔 you might be on to something 😆 And thanks for the nudge! 💕❤️
I’m glad to see another type of your art❣️
Who knows how long it will stick, haha. But fur now I'm enjoying the process ☺️
I was excited when I first saw your page, I love this type of collage❣️.

Thank you, Terri! I'm really enjoying the process, but the sticky fingers is something I will need to get used to!
It's really gorgeous! This inspires me. Now I want to do something like this too 😊
