I think they're playable, it's just looks... exhausting. I would suggest passing phrases back and forth between two bassoons. I don't think it'd be too difficult to split between two parts. (it also gives you the opportunity to add more harmony with the whole notes, if you wanted) Overall, I really like your piece though!
even basic theory knowledge can get you started! just knowing the basic triad chords in major and minor keys can kickstart a lot! my music writing began from just listening to my favourite tracks over and over again, and then you try to copy it. and then the more you try things out, the more different things you can try writing! it may take time (taken me a few years) but in the end you'll eventually get there 😊
i used to do that a lot when i started out, but in uni i had to write a lot of independent lines... guess that's here and less harmonising. i'll get back to it one day

This would sound amazing performed with NotePerformer in Finale and run through multitrack software for individual instrument EQ and reverb correction!
