- The Gaboury household is filled with hockey equipment and the signature smell that goes with it… And since they devote all their free time to sports, the family’s house is an overflowing mess. The basement is disorderly, every surface is covered with stuff, and Mom’s piles of paperwork are scattered throughout the home. That’s where domestic diplomats - Kim Woodburn and Mike Chalut - come in. They vow to create a foolproof storage system, turn chaos into order, and get the Gabourys to play as a team… But can they motivate them to get started?

I really do like how this family interacts. No one is yelling, the two boys are working together. Good for them!
Kim always cracks me up with her diva personality followed by her easy-peasy cleaning tips.
These houses always have huge usable basements! Something we just don’t have in the UK.
So envious of all that space!

When I got together with my husband he had paperwork just piled in boxes. It took months to sort and organize into a filing system. People don't realize how nuch trash they're carrying from place to place all their lives!
Lovely family and clean! So nice to deal with mess only. I noticed the kitchen was never mentioned, once the paperwork was gone, it would be much tidier.

@@triggeredcat120 Ontario is still in a lockdown :( in our area we had to close a factory due to about 10 people with the virus :(
@@MsSony12345 How awful. I’m sorry to hear about those who got the virus! I hope they have a full recovery! I got the virus myself back in January but it was nothing compared to what those in the hospital are dealing with. Stay healthy and safe!

Dad: It has to get worst before it gets better! That is the process of decluttering/ cleaning.
My husband would be just like this if he lived alone. He has an allergy to organising and storing things. He’d have empty cupboards and everything on the floor, tables and chairs. What I find funny is that he looks in the place I’ve assigned for an item, doesn’t put it back afterwards, then looks in the same place for the item when he wants it again. Then asks ME where it is😂

When you look at how many belongings some people can afford and they don't seem to care, it becomes obvious that we in our country value the little we have exactly because we do not have much.

Another way to deodorize your shoes is to fill socks with baking soda, tie or sew them closed, and stick em in your shoes!
she has MY SPODE DISHES!!! im so very happy she's finally got them out where they can be seen and appreciated. they're worth a LOT of $$$$. I use mine every day.
I have seen worse than this. Just lack of effort. Good he has time for his kids which is a positive. Sure Kim will put them in line & it shouldn't take long to clean this place. Always nice to see the end result.

1. Get rid of rubbish 2. Wash dishes and laundry. 3. Sell stuff. 4. Have drawers and cupboards for miscellaneous.

I would struggle with that as Canadian homes R a bit smaller than American homes and it's cold outside show U want your home to be a bit of a haven.
