I can't hate on this list, y'all did a decent job. However being from DC, some of these places aren't really "Hood". I'm guessing whoever made this list is under 30. If you lived in DC during the 80's when it was the murder Capitol, you know there are really only a few certified hoods. Most of these areas are bad neighborhoods effected by poor school districts and gentrification. Having to lived in "hoods" like Kentland, Savannah Terrace, Barry Farms, and Trinidad, there is no way you can tell me Fort Totten, Michigan Park, Brookland, Riggs Park, or Georgia Ave. are considered hoods. Georgia ave goes through half the city. You could say Kennedy St. or Hobart St, but again those are bad neighborhoods. The only hoods in VA are in Richmond. But again it's called DMV now instead of Chocolate City, because of gentrification. Having said that... work together for the future of our nation. Between DC and Baltimore there are too many black people in places of power to let these areas continue to struggle in poverty. Make a plan for your future that does not include selling drugs or crime. Make sure you own property not just rent for the rest of your life. Buy or open your own your corner stores in these neighborhoods. Don't let foreigners get wealthy selling you poison. Stop hating on each other, and killing each other. Your doing a better job killing your future than the white supremacist. #Baltimore and DC Unite.
