One of the greatest beat em ups of all time! Up there with the two Ninja Turtles , the Two Dungeons and Dragons , Final Fight, Double Dragon, Streets of Rage, Aliens v Predator, Xmen and the SImpsons beat em ups. All the best!

The video game company Data East must have caved in from the inside (internal administrative issues) because they couldn't have gone out of business because of the great games they had been putting out throughout the 80's and 90's. I loved playing Bad Dudes, Karnov, Werewolf, Robocop and this awesome game.

The game is fun and incredibly easy if you play as Captain America. His shield hits when thrown and when it returns. On flying stages it's devastating to spam shield throws just taking everything out. I remember playing this on Sega Genesis and at the Arcade.

What's funnier is that you can stunlock Juggernaut by using your special attack just as he starts to stand up, which will knock him back down again. Done right, you can beat Juggernaut without taking a single hit.
I used to own this on Genesis back in the day and played it once or twice in the arcades, and always wondered...why does Juggernaut look and behave so weird compared to the, you know, regular Marvel Comics Juggernaut? Is there another Marvel villain named Juggernaut that I'm not aware of? Or did Data East just f*ck up?
No.. I think it has something to do with the brainwashing. What's even weirder is the Juggernaut as a baddie here. He really isn't a villain in the Avengers by any means (despite fighting Thor and Hulk in separate comics)

This game is everything what growing up in the 90's was about..... even the goddamn bench exploded when he threw it! God I love this game!
On a side note, for a game that came out almost 30 years ago the animation and sound is sublime!

Same could be said about the Sentinel but I was proven wrong when I saw some old issues of Avengers where they battled sentinels.
+Megared82 marvel shares villians sometimes but sentinels will always be associated with the xmen and mutants naturally.
