I remember when my dad used to have two Royal Enfield's when I was little. Used to go to see him play Badminton with his friends back then sitting on the tank and feeling like I was riding the bike. Always felt free and happy. Sad that after his accident (not on a RE though), I've stopped using a bike altogether. This makes me wanna get back on one. But don't think I can afford one. Someday. I'll for sure save up for one and buy a continental and ride across the country. Someday for sure. Lol at the very least rent one for sure. Always love seeing an RE. Brings back so so many good memories. That's what this machine is all about. Memories and good times. Love you guys for keeping it looking as good as it always was and will be. If there's one thing that doesn't need to be changed. It's an RE. The essence of it just is in my blood and in everyone who grew up seeing or riding one. Glad and happy that it's still kept safe and going on even now. Kudos, people. Kudos indeed.

I enjoyed watching that. Been a 535 GT owner for 3 years. Prefer the look of the Interceptor to the GT and would've preferred both to have 360 degree cranks for that proper British twin sound.

I've booked the gt 650 but please, RE is a vibrator. Everything except the gt twins are unrefined and nothing more. The only thing RE has proven with the twins is that it can make really good motorcycles but didn't even try so far because people would still buy whatever they dish out into the market for the "feel". Pathetic.
i do own a 535 red cgt,did somme improuvements,exaust, air intake,electronics,loose few kilogramme and so on,a great bike to ride cafe racer style,do not compare thi's bike with anny other new bike on the market, the 535 cgt is just an old gohst set up to match euro 4 spec, so yes a re 535 cgt can't be compare to any other bike, it's a great bike i love it...bad point in europe it's a p...i.. d.. a.. to got spare parts from the austrian group who import royal enfeild in europa,thoses guys sucks

All Enfield are overrated. The engine parts are made of pathetic quality and they need to be changed every now and then. The rest of the parts are not sturdy and not solid. Royal Enfield you have lost on quality and you don't care about it cause you think your sales are good. As a company you should talk to your dealers and see number of bikes that come for repairs. Owned a Thunderbird 500 for 2 years and really not proud of it.

Intro by a man so mechanically inept he rode to India not knowing how to adjust the tappets. This bike wasn't engineered by Harris, they did the frame. The engine was designed in England not India. I bet they are holding their breath on whether the Indian factory gets it's quality control up to scratch.
Why dont you think about making interceptor 535 in current GT single cylinder platform?it just a peace of cake to Royal Enfield,People also like to see interceptor in a smaller version.
The Continental GT 535 shows RE's failure as a manufacturer despite having partnered with the best bike developers. It shows how they cheat their customers as that bike felt like a trial model for the new 650 twins, the money for whose development came from duping the customers by selling the GT 535.
The legendary bullet standard 350 is the only product which has stood the test of time. Apart from that RE is just a hyped company . Sure they have a great marketing team. The quality is something which needs to be questioned by every owner.

I think soo, its depends how long u want drive? If u drive in one tour 300 km, u can stop, take a five minutes brake....if u back become tired... we are different, I think too buy me GT650 before interceptor because he looks more sporty and I normally dont drive more than 100 km a day...more in the city, and there GT650 is good, easy too handle I think..
