- Karen Read’s defense team grilled a paramedic who responded to the January 2022 call about John O’Keefe being found unresponsive in the snow. The defense asked Katie McLaughlin several questions about whether or not she knew whose home she was being called out to - she testified she later found out the home was an acquittance’s from high school. Karen Read is currently on trial for the murder of her boyfriend, John O’Keefe.

I retired last October from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. I investigated over 14 thousand motor vehicle crashes and about 200 Fatalities. I worked the road my entire career. I have seen alot in my career, but this case is the most corrupted case I have ever seen in my life. From the officers Lieing to EMS being shady. If I had ever witnessed this or investigated this fatal crash, NO CHARGES WOULD HAVE BEEN FILED. What is wrong with these people? They are trying to put an innocent woman in prison. I never ever ever tried to cover anything up. One word. PATHETIC

I was flabberghasted to learn that the JUDGE HAS PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH SOME PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THIS CASE.
I felt she was being harsh on the defense questions 😮
It's not mind blowing, most judges know all the police officers in their area. Cuz they gotta go to court to testify the only "fair" way to have a trial would be to have it in a different area, but even then the different cops would know those judges. They work together for a common purpose... to tax civilians

Not true. The defense misleads and misconstrues, IMO. I've heard that....a formidable team....makes beaucoup bucks. I've never testified. Don't know much about how the justice system works, except for that.....the cases I have watched....are much like a circus. Don't know the rules of perjury, etc. If ever faced with any such duty...I would certainly need to be schooled....so that I am able to do the right thing.

I don't think it needs to be this giant conspiracy theory to have the opinion the judge hasn't been great and she's been inconsistent in this trial. Now as far as the rest of the trial and people involved, that's another story.. We shall see

@@eileencalabro7909 She admitted her story "evolved" so she lied until she got called on lie that Karen Read had originally said, "I hit him". That's not what she told the police the morning of the crime. Plus she got caught saying I went to school with a person named that, like she doesn't know who he's referring to since and then he caught her on that lie because she's been in her dorm room in college, gone on trips with her, and a baby shower so she knows EXACTLY who he's talking about. A lie by omission is STILL A LIE!

The I hit um, I hit um. I hit um seems to be the theme. Jen McGabe started this I hit um, another liar. All the people in the house answered any which way they wanted to. Not only that they made faces, they were arrogant, they made a lot of gestures. I didn't hear the Judge correct them like she did KR or the defense.

I forgot the original source but my bother told me that to convict an innocent person you need 1) A dirty cop, 2) a corrupt prosecutor and 3) an incompetent or corrupt judge. So they're all lined up and playing their parts, Proctor, Morrissey and Auntie Bev. Only this time I think they'll fail because Read has a great defense team and the whole world watching.

That she's a friend of the daughter of the homeowner (Brian Albert) who has a dead Boston police officer on his lawn and that she's the source of the "I hit him, I hit him" that they claim Karen made. She also fails to mention that meeting with mr proctor the next day was set up by Kevin Albert, Brian's brother and a Canton cop. There are a total of 35 officers on the Canton force yet she, a fire fighter, claims not to know who Kevin is.
She needs to be fired and jailed!!

These people have CLEARLY had their memories “refreshed”, after being interviewed by the very unbiased and professional with not hatred at all for Karen… Trooper Proctor. All of them mysteriously changed their testimony from “did it hit him, is he dead?” To I hit him I hit him I hit him! … come on…
