denial that voters rejected him. He claims the DA "wants to make
Lesufi look good". Gibson warns Lesufi that he mustn't be greedy and try to

ANC has not fully accepted that they have lost power & are no longer the ruling party or "leader of society". Those days are over & they will never come back. Dilapidated infrastructure; a gross reversal of civilization on every conceivable metric. ANC played with people's lives, Gauteng got fed up & voted them out. Panyaza Lesufi needs to accept that reality

Panyaza Lesufi has always counted his chickens. His ego far outweighs anything he has ever achieved. How the people have suffered under his premiership the shock of having to take him back again. He was instrumental in the election of the ex speaker, he and she allowed the chaos on the floor where no DA members were ever permitted a vote. The stacking and a two person party mayor who (addimittedly - has improved) hid away from any decision making which left Panyaza to make decisions unopposed, spending millions on his own agenda, to the cost of all infrustructure and the detriment of Gauteng. The country outright rejected Panyaza and he needs to remember that.

I think most provinces townships are a mess not just Capetown.

How you achieve the economic growth and other objectives is yet to be determined. The current policies must be up for review and change because they haven't been working up to now. E.g. on the point of unemployment and industrialisation, the ANC and DA needs to come up with a 10 year plan. E.g. postpone the minimum wage for 10 years and grow a low wage economy. Then, transition to a higher wage economy over the next 10 years. SA needs a long-term plam to become the African powerhouse it can be.
