I always get so excited to see a new video from you !!! You are a dose of “calm to my soul” ... God is first, than God blessed us with Andrea to see and hear and watch! You are a beautiful gift to us with your personality... your inspiration to shop our homes and appreciate what we already have! I pray you are blessed with calm and peace doing these videos and inspiring all of us! A hug to you sweet lady....❤️❤️🌲❤️❤️
Andrea...how beautiful. Everything is simple with elegance and evokes that heartfelt feeling of nostalgia and making memories. I watch your videos at night before going to sleep because I always get a feelings of peace and comfort. God bless. ❤
I love the subtleness of it Andrea, with natural elements and it looks so classic with all the cozy feels. I usually use my white cake stand as the base of my cocoa bar: on top of the stand I have the cocoa powder in a glass mason jar and marshmallows in another jar and a small bottle brush tree for that pop of greenery, and at the bottom of the cake stand I tuck in a few white mugs. Keeps it neutral and festive and uncluttered ☺️
So sweet and a wonderful family tradition. Have you thought of putting your grandpas dresser behind the chair (in front of the window) in the living room? I do this a lot to add backlighting to a chair and storage that is kinda tucked away. You are precious!
So elegant and beautiful! Sometimes I feel like the more simple the Christmas decor is the more In drawn to it. 😊 I really love the idea of a separate space for a coffee/cocoa bar instead of taking up space on my counter!
I love how you buy thrifted, it’s unique, things are made to last, it’s environmentally friendly and classic! (Too many channels with Hobby Lobby and Michael’s.)
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the blue and white cups and saucers!! Blue and white vintage china is my favorite. This looks so yummy and it makes me miss my grandsons so much...won't be able to celebrate with them this year due to COVID but I'm sure they would enjoy your hot cocoa ! Enjoy your lovely home and family during this very special holiday !!
What a lovely idea, especially when hosting! I would place some sort of pad underneath the coffee and cocoa pots to catch the inevitable drips, either decorative or practical (like large, pretty paper coasters) Also, you might offer a grating station which would offer the cinnamon sticks you already have, as well as a whole nutmeg and a bar of chocolate. I love the idea of having peppermint sticks as stirrers!
May I make a suggestion? When my husband died I started a tradition. On Christmas Eve I read a story about my husband to my family. And then tell the children the many blessings that his generosity gave us during the year. We love it and it keeps him near to us at the holidays. Maybe it will help your family with the passing of your grandfather.💕
So beautiful. I will have to decorate mine. I will be having a cookie swap and my large family for holidays and this would look so inviting. Thank you.
Andrea I love your sweet, cosy cocoa bar and the clever way you used what you already had on hand. Even though this year has been so hard and people are going through incredibly difficult times, it also a time to reflect that we are so blessed in many ways and to try to be thankful for God's provisions.
What a beautiful serving buffet for your cocoa bar! Great idea! I love the Heritage coffee & tea set from Pfaltzgraff. You have a wonderful attention to details! Thanks for sharing!
Lovely. When my kids were little, I loved doing this for them especially on a snowy weekend day. And would even add fresh nutmeg that was one of their favorites 😍🥰🥰🥰🥰
Andrea .....lovely display🥰 I am always inspired by your home; unfortunately, my husband now has nightmares due to the ideas that bleed profusely from my brain😂😂😂
I love love that you went oldfashioned with your cocoa bar. So much more cozy then the way most do things now. It just bring those cozy homey vibes .It reminds me of my granmothers house at holidays.a real winner
Your cocoa/coffee bar is so stunning. Love how the blue & white tied in with the berries on the wreath, and your grandfather's cutting board, so special and beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
I just wanted to say that I really appreciate how you use thrifted or inexpensive items for your home and share that with us all! In the sea of home decor TH-camrs who are constantly buying more and more every season-your channel is a reality check! Most of us out here can’t buy all new decor every season either due to budget or storage space. I love seeing how you do things because you don’t buy all news things every season BUT your home is so much more beautiful than homes that are packed full of stuff. Thank you and please don’t ever change! ❤️
Andrea - Thank you for sharing this. All the warm and cozy and yummy memories this brings back. Have a lovely evening, my friend. Blessings - Judith 🎵🎭
I love the way you style the house. I also have Pfaltzgraff Heritage White set, which I collected by buying in different thrift stores. You gave me so many ideas how to decorate my house. I love velvet ribbons and fairy lights. Thank you for the link in Amazon store. See you soon...
Beautiful white dishes, and love the currier & Ives too ... My daughter bought me some old blue willow dishes for my Birthday this Summer “they were the dishes my grandma used “ I’m using them in my Christmas decor, they look amazing with pops of red ... Thanks for sharing 🤗👍🏻💕🎄
So beautiful!! Love the Santa candy mold, the dishes, homemade whipped cream and your grandfather’s cutting board, really all of it! So special! I’m the same as your son, I make my hot chocolate with either almond or coconut milk. I can’t wait to replicate this in our home. Thanks for the sweet inspiration!
Seeing you enjoy your coffee and tea pot makes my heart happy. I see many years of memories being created with your hot chocolate fun. I love the mix of the blue pieces added in, too. Happy Thanksgiving.
Oh gosh... loved this post. First I see your cute little Santa mold come out , which made me smile , then I see Currier and Ives come out ... I’ve collected this for years. I have a set of 16 serving sets including the teapot , casserole dishes and the drink ware.
I love the farmhouse sophistication of your coco bar. I didn't have a Farmhouse kitchen last year, so mine was very colorful and whimsical. I may go for a more sophisticated set up this time since we will only have one other family member and my grandson this year due to Covid. I have been collecting white dishes and pieces for years and I didn't know that they were Pfaltzgraff until I saw your video! When I saw yours and the marking, I was like Duh! I have twelve plates (from a church charity shop) a water pitcher, 6 each of the bread, dessert and tea/coffee saucers, all found at Goodwill. Now I have to find the cups and the coffee/tea pots you have. It's a challenge now, lol!
Hello from Sweden🇸🇪 l loved wtching your video, so inspirational. In Sweden we think Americans start VERY early to decorate and prepare for cheistmas, because here in my country, Sweden, we start our Christmas decorating in December, usually around the 1st of Advent... Exept for the Christmas tree. Many familys wait until the day before Christmas Eve to decorate the tree. (In Seeden Christmas Eve is the big celebration day at christmas). My family have a tradition of decorating the tree on the 12th of December, because the next day, the 13th of December, is a very special day, it's the Lucia Day, a day when girl's put lighted candles or by battery driven lights in their hair, and boys put lonng coned hats with stars on, on their heads. They walk around like the children at Halloween, knocking on the doors and sing Christmas carols and maybe give away saffron bunns and in return they get some money.. and with this I just have a question. Why is it a tradition in America to decoeate for Christmas so early? 😊💖👍🏻🎄🎁🎄 ,
I loved hearing about all of your traditions! I truly think it is a tradition for some because it is such a special, magical time a year that decorating early means getting to enjoy it that much longer. That is what is true for my own family at least.
@@PineandProspectHome Magical is the word.💖👍🏻 In my family we have a big "Norway Spruce", a real tree, and we decorate it in a scandinavian, (a little sparingly), way.💖
Andrea, the cocoa/coffee bar turned out beautiful! Nothing like drinking a hot beverage out of China cups. Also, letting others see your collection of the China is nice as well. One of my most fond memories was drinking out of my grandmother’s China as a child. I am blessed to have some of those cups and cherish them dearly. Like I said...Nothing like a real coffee cup with coffee, cocoa or other hot treats. Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to your Christmas home tour.❄️Leslie
Looks so beautiful! I have some of the same dishes, but only ever used them as decor. I was told that they may contain lead so never used them. I have no clue if they do or not..? I’m assuming they don’t since your using them for yr family. Looks awesome! Thx fr sharing
Simply beautiful! I can't help but wonder what did you use for your wall paint color? I love how calming it looks. Could you please tell me the name and brand paint you used?
So beautiful! Your channel is so inspirational. I’m looking at all the accessories behind you and I love love the thrifted stars ✨ they are so different. My family and friends are encouraging me to start a channel but I am so nervous speaking to the camera. Do you have any tips you speak so easily?
Love all the beautiful dishes so nice !!! It’s so warm and cozy. You’ve inspired me to put something together for the holidays. Thanks so much for sharing
Your hot cocoa bar is so elegant and vintage looking, I have the same dishes with the blue pattern on it and I just love to use them at Christmas time and I think this year I will put it on my hot chocolate cocoa tea bar and I also have a hot cocoa tea pot like vessel that I will use to serve the hot cocoa in, I also make Mexican hot chocolate so I will serve that, like I said your set up isElegant and vintage looking and I enjoyed watching this video
Andrea like always it was so magical everything we looked at today you are certainly so beautiful and your home reflects you. I don’t like the cocoa bars that are put together in a lot of videos but this is so tasteful and I have the perfect buffet area it’s about the size of yoursAnd I’m going to try it with the wreath years ago I had those same cups and when I moved I got rid of them LOL but I do have beautiful cups that I’m going to be using so thank you so much for this beautiful video have a blessed day

If you mentioned in the video and if I missed, I am sorry in advance, but what is the fluffy thing that you put in the coco in the beginning of the video? whipped cream? looks tooooo good!!!
My Currier and Ives dishes! I have quite a bit. They were my husband's grandmother's. I later found out that my Grandma had some as well and received them after she passed. They were sold at the local grocery store, and a different type of dish each week. I love how you used them with the Pfaltzgraff! Thank you for the inspiration ❤️
