- Just getting top speed of the derbi senda went off the clock by abit reckon it was around 60mph my dad has been behind me doing 65mph before :) bike has been only a little bit modified sprockets 17.5mm carb and performance exhaust :) please like thank you

Excellent video. I have a 1977 50cc Casal Phantom 5 with a slightly modified/gas-flowed engine and a bigger carb. The original engine was 6.5bhp. I does around 58/60mph in still air and I have had 70mph down hill.

that's pretty quick! I have a completely stock aprillia rx 50 (apart from de-restriction) I have managed to get 54 mph, which is like 86 or so km/h which i am pretty happy about considering it's only a 50cc.
How did you derestricted it? Do u changed something in carb?

hi dude, i got derbi senda 50cc from the year 2000, the engine had a rebuild last week and new racing piston, rings, and a 21mm carb all calibrated, also it has a 15th sproket and derestricted stock exhaust, however it only top 45mph, i dont know why, but if you could tell me what i could do to improve it, it will be great
You could get a bigger bore kit, such as a 70cc or 80cc (down to preference really). I know the Lexmoto LSM 50 has an upgradeable CDI unit, so you may be able to find CDI's for the Senda. Maybe a new gasket (try the same ccm as the bore kit), aswell as cylinders. A crankshaft may help aswell. Having a derestricted stock exhaust does minimal boosting for speed/acceleration - arrow, technigas, leovince, anything very common but aftermarket are better (plus, better sound). That's about it, I guess.

You probably don't need the answer, but my stock unrestricted was going 72 km/h, and it's 80-83km/h with new arrow exhaust.

Mine did 55mph then i put a 16 tooth front sprocket on and it does 70 now
i have a stock derbi sm pro 09 plate it does 41, fully stock, you need to shift normally :')

Dennis Weichelt Depends on where you live. In EU It's only like 30mph since that's the legal limit for road use but derestricted It's much higher and with a few mods it Will hit speeds of 60mph easily

the bike only had a race exhaust and a 17.5mm carb which I put another jet in it had off road wheels as well not a SM and I changed the front sprocket that's all I did
