Hi Andreanne, really great makes! I really love the bag you made. Dyed it and everything! I can't believe that is your first embroidery. Really great! You might want to put some iron on interfacing on the inside of that pocket to keep the threads from getting pulled when you use the pocket. You could put a lining fabric over it on your next make but you could slip in iron on into this one. That seems like the pocket I use the most!

Hi Jodie! Thank you so much!! 🤩oh that’s very good advice, I’ve definitely been avoiding to use the pocket because I felt like I was pulling the threads inadvertently 😅 will do that now! Thank you so much for watching!

Glad to hear you had a good month. Don’t be too hard on yourself for times when you have not as productive of a month, we all have them:) Oh my goodness, that Seren dress is so gorgeous!! Especially in that amazing fabric! Yes, do a fabric haul video, lol. I wasn’t familiar with the pattern but I’m putting it on my list. Right now I’m making maternity items. I still want to look cute & stylish;)

Haya. Hope all is good with you? All your makes are wonderful & the injection of color is lovely. There is no 1 specific make that is my favorite of mine, just comfy T shirts in jersey. Thanku for sharing. xx

I know you like to wear your skirts and dresses above the knee, which totally suits you but with some of the skirts and dresses it actually looks good to have it on the knee or below the knee as it's about the balance of the top to bottom proportions. The dresses you showed in this video look gorgeous at the length they are at :) I'm 161cm so I've always had to question length of skirts on me.

The seamwork floral skirt is so pretty! I find many Seamwork patterns have too much ease and I need to size down.

Hi Andreanne, such lovely makes and so pretty on you 💖. I think it's good to go out of your comfort zone now and then. I must take a leaf out of your book and do it myself, as I tend to stick too much to what I know. I'm not one for dresses but bought myself some gorgeous tropical looking cotton viscose and want to try a dress for the first time 👍. My recent make which I love is the Loungewear Set top by Common Stitch... it's so cool and comfy to wear and the fabric I used was a gorgeous tencel / linen slub 👌💕. So glad that you had a better month for sewing Andreanne 😁✊😘

It's exciting seeing you in more colors and prints! Everything is so lovely! I made a peasant style top from Butterick 6455 out of a very light-weight cotton gingham. It's a light mint gingham with itty bitty pink rosebuds interspersed. There's a narrow elasticized neckline, and a big ruffle on the sleeves and hem. The sleeves look like your myosotis dress sleeves. It's gloriously floaty and airy, and I just love it! I wear it with a pair of teal stretch skinny pants (ready to wear). 🥰

I made the Stevie dress by Tilly and just loved it! I made a top and loved it so much I made the dress. I'm crazy about that pattern :) I also made a couple of dresses - the Ruby Made by Rae - I love this pattern too. Instead of using bias tape I lined the 2 yokes and attached them to the body front and back and it's turned into a pattern I'm sure I'll use over and over. Just loved your first dress Andreanne! Those bold colours in that silhouette on you suited you to a Tee! You might like to explore the Kibbe Body Types - youtuber Aly Art explains them so well and I've found this method of visioning MY body type enlightening! I wish I'd known this years ago! Very different from the fruits (apple, pear etc) and much more helpful :)
