Turtle breathing through mouth. Sign of caution!! 🐢🐢🧿🧿

- Today morning I found that my turtle is breathing through mouth continuously. She was also making wheezing sounds while breathing. At first it looks kinda cute them opening mouth and making cute little sounds, but if you are a turtle owner, please be aware that this is a sign of caution! and they are finding it hard to breathe!
She's still going through respiratory infection treatment, so I immediately called vet doctor and he suggested a medicine to relax her breathing through nebuliser.
She feels a little better now. I love her so much and hoping she gets recovered soon.
my turtle has the same problem mine still eats alot but hes showing signs so hope he recovers fast..
Please take your turtle to the near by vet 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Was the turtle normal just before the day you noticed it breathing like that ?
Mine same problem what does that mean it started at 8:06 he was fine then this happened
Steps to do: 1. remove turtle form water. 2. Give carrot bath twice a day 3. Place it in clean warm place with a cotton cloth 4. Contact a nearby or online veterinarian doctor immediately

@pavithramgofficial am turtle also have same problem, i removed from water and giving mox 250 thrice a week but unfortunately I don't have any doctor near my home town, i have taken online consultation but it's not worth. Can u provide any guidance
Which medicine youve given?
Hi , it’s an injection prescribed by doctor given via nebuliser. Along with that dry removing turtle from water and only feeding water thrice a day for 15 mins helps.. and uvb light and warm place for her comfort

@Arfin Raza please remove her from water after feeding food and medicines. Only feed her water thrice a day (20 minutes each time)
The temperature is low at these times, so even with less water, if you are unable to maintain water temperature it's gonna be difficult for the turtle to recover.
