That is so problematic for the chameleon! Never do this, chameleon are prey, not predators they need coverage to hide from people and animals and the stress of the unsteady branch and all the people around could really hurt your chameleon

i think he/she just want to go out of there to get more sunshine or be in a more fun place. I truly don’t know but i have a RES and he would just be bored in there. Mine walks in the house, often. He climbs on cushions and towels that are laying around. But he likes to stretch his back legs and hang his arms down. I tthink it’s more about finding the right spot (temperature wise, light wise, ventilation wise ) than the idea of exercising that motivates him. Still, i know he likes to walk around a lot, to follow me. They’re so social, it’s incredible !
