    Great video. I am addicted to the flat baits in the shallow areas near Corpus Christi. The cast far and they are fun to site cast with because of the accuracy I can get with them.

    Hello sir have you ever try the bornaleta lele ? It’s a Brazilian lure they use for peacock bass down there but the specks can’t stand it they hit it hard. It works like a top water but about three inches underwater

      I am not familiar with that lure , but will look at it , thanks for watching Miguel.

    Nice work Ross. Can you give a description of the split rings and hooks you like using as a replacement, for saltwater ??

    • @redfishross
      @redfishross  ปีที่แล้ว

      Any brand name split rings are good if they are silver in color ,stay away from any that are black. If I change hooks I go with VMC .

    I've found anything with 6th or 13 in the name, to be absolute garbage. May good health find you and keep you in the coming year. Thanks for the videos.

    Are you mostly sight casting or just getting a sense where the fish are and casting there? Thank you for the videos and all the best in the New Year.

    • @redfishross
      @redfishross  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No not sight casting , making long casts covering water , mainly targeting the areas in and around the sand pockets. Thanks for watching Richard.
