0:48 And that's why I shoot for the highest possible low product, if I can't see what I am making I will need to write it down and draw it in order to know what I am making at the base. This applies to both the art and the mechanics of whatever I am making. Is what I would say if I had any experience, but I don't so, take this with a grain of salt. And honestly, I don't see it as a "problem" I see it as "you being efficient with your tools and time". Huh, so... a lot of time was cut?
I mean you could focus you game on your art and not the other way around it's what alot of indie devs do and they still make great games. Which they are also devs who focus on story first then art the the game so it's up to indivegual style.
Maybe. But you could change the face for not be so similar to Kirbi and be more original, like playing with the dos of the Dice to be the eyes, or something like that. The rest of the game is epic!!
dang I love the little dice guy! Camera shader at the end looks super cool as well, I could totally see this being fleshed out into a bigger game
Thanks man! Loved your devlog!
This is like the third time I’ve been introduced to a game developer through this game jam.
THIS GAMEJAM HASNT GIVEN ME A DISAPPOINTING VIDEO YET
Let's goooo this game jam had a lot of variety on TH-cam, not as much in actual games 😅🤫
We also went with a casino theme. It just breathes out lots of ideas. We made it so our levels end when you knock over card houses lol
That's cool, yeah i thought about making it a physics game but decided against it
Really cool to see the ball transform into the cube. Great work!
This is a good video, the editing and commentary are swift and fun.
Thanks! This was the most fun video to edit in a long time
@@CGSmoothie Can't just steal other people's jokes like that lad, thought I raised ye better
Guess you were wrong 🤪
@@CGSmoothie NOOOOOOOOOOO
This is so cool and unique. Good job dude!
Thanks!
Heck yeah this looks awesome! Specially the particles
ESPECIALLY the particles

Tldr: I just didn't have a lot of time in general, and baking lights takes stupid long 😅
@@CGSmoothie Fair.
That's really good man. Great work!
Thanks!
cool game! i especially like how the game looks like it’s on ds/3ds
Thanks! I haven't seen it that way, what makes you think it looks 3ds-y? Also this is a great reminder for me to update the build!
Which if you had gone gamplay first how would have gotten the entire game which looks unique and fun?
Yeah the only redeeming factor of my art being first priority is my game looks good 👍

im not like other developers 😛
I'm... Kinda quirky 👉🏻👈🏻
@@CGSmoothie 🤪
Cool but i would remove the face of the dice
But the face gives it so much more personality 😅
Maybe. But you could change the face for not be so similar to Kirbi and be more original, like playing with the dos of the Dice to be the eyes, or something like that.
The rest of the game is epic!!
But i still think if you remove the face it could finish more simple and cool or something like that idk
Respectfully disagree
@@CGSmoothie ok, i was only giving my opinion
The rest of the game is cool 👍
Realistic Kirby feet? 🤢
Art styles 🥸
