They come in a 3 pack and 5 pack. they do program chirp . you get great range with Abbree 771 antenna . that tune 150 MHz and 460 MHz . also the 42 in Abbree works on them. got several miles between the 2 on Ch 4 wide. could not do on stock antenna . will USB C solar panel charge. or a power bank with USB A to C or C to C cable. my outher radios like that are the RB 27 GMRS and RB 27B FRS . can use MURS and FRS same time on 2 different radios buy each outher. even CB . the only issue we had is when using same band and different Ch when close but a outher person it cuts the receive out on outher radio . only happens when close to a outher radio on the same band.

It’s actually right above the 2 meter ham band so it’s going to behave like this 2 meter 144 to 148 MHz band. So if 2 meters is open, murs just might be too. It’s basically ham radio, but without the requirement for a license. I don’t recommend using a ham call sign down there on murs or anywhere for that matter.

Those are programmable via Chirp (according to the Chirp site). I wonder if one could fix the issue the defective one is exhibiting. That is a really weird issue!
I have the FRS version on the way.

The problem is in the switch, it's mechanical.

I don't think I like the alarm mode. I wonder if theres a way to disable it via the CHIRP software

Retevis replaced the radio that turned on with the alarm activated. It is not supposed to come on unless you activate it.

I just ordered 3 of them for $25+tax about $9 each.
