The Banjo-Kazooie games are connected to the Donkey Kong games by Diddy Kong Racing, which means that Conker's Bad Fur Day is also connected to the same franchise in the same way. We also know that Donkey Kong and Mario exist in the same universe thanks to the Donkey Kong arcade game. Basically what I'm telling you is that, in the same universe where there is Mario, Princess Peach, and the Mushroom Kingdom, there is also an opera singing pile of shit.

If the only connection is the racing game, and that alone is enough, then Hyrule and the Mushroom Kingdom are part of the same universe as well. Just as Inkopolis, and towns and islands in Animal Crossing.

For me, it's Cloud Strife in Smash Bros. that felt surreal, considering the fact that I've never been a fan of "Final Fantasy VII", and I never wanted him to be playable at all. :P
The only one of Ultimate's DLC characters that still feels surreal to me is Joker.
Hero, Banjo and Terry all deserved the spots for different reasons but Joker just kinda showed up.

Yesterday I showed my gf banjo kazooie, and we played a new file together. It was amazing to see the glow in a first timers eyes, today I finished an old file of banjo tooie, was fulfilling and nostalgic as ever. Then this is uploaded. Needless to say, its been a good day

Am I ever glad to watch Masae's LP of Banjo-Kazooie. I'm also glad I watched Lucahjin's LP, funny enough I butt-clenched at her LP and not MasaeAnela but I did enjoy them both.

It should've been a no-brainer right after Crash sold 10 Million Copies, I mean even Sony resurrected Medievil and there are rumors of Ape Escape, Microsoft is missing the boat with that series!

AwesomeBlox Gaming Steve as a character is pretty bland as he’s just a default avatar, BUT Minecraft in smash would be amazing, and if done well Steve/Alex(/any Minecraft mob as alt skins) could have a super creative moveset revolving around crafting, mining, placing blocks, using lava/water buckets, etc.

The final part with the accidental fanart use. I'm sorry, that's just not fanart. It's a blatant copy/paste with a single pixel difference. I have compared the two multiple times now, I can only see that one single pixel on the helmet that differentiate the two sprites, there is just no other difference. It honestly blows my god damn mind that someone was able to notice a difference, it's so minute.
They must have known what they were looking for. Feels almost like a set-up tbh. But yeah, that's definitely a blatant rip-off
so basically you can take a sprite and change one pixel and claim its your totally original fanart?
I get it's kind of lazy for nintendo to take sprites from google when they should have an asset library for all their games but at the same time its really weird how an individual scoured throught SSBU's files (since the pixel was only really visable if you cracked open the game files) and specifically found the one sprite with an extra pixel.
All in all nintendo is in their right to use their characters and assets despite the lazy acquisition. And editing a sprite with ONE pixel does not instantly make it your wholely original fanart. It just makes you lazy and a little scummy for taking the original pixel artist's work and claiming it as your own.
About the library, you know, I'm not sure they have original sprites from an old game like mother... They for sure have things like original artworks, but for a sprite, I guess it is normal for them to look over Google to find it. And for the amount of work the developpers have, it's way easier to type a quick google research for 1/+1300 spirits...
@@frize6672 thats fair, it is a little lazy since they should be easliy able to rip a sprite from their own game if they don't have it but then again it's their asset to begin with so taking it off google shouldn't be that big of a deal.
While it's not great that they used a modified sprite, it's not "fan art".
I was super happy when Crash's remake was confirmed. I was super excited to see Spyro also get a remake. I was thrilled to see them come to Switch. I would be in literal tears if they remade Banjo-Kazooie 1 and 2 (and it was good) and have that come to the Switch. Omg.

I had no idea there were plans for a Banjo-Kazooie cartoon. I would have loved the hell out that. The games reminded me of the animated shows I used to watch as a kid on CBBC & CITV. And It was great that Nintendo Official Magazine got mentioned. It was the British Equivalent of Nintendo Power. I was sad when it ended it's run in 2014.

I think he was actually unaware! He was told the music would be going towards advertisements and nothing else, and was just as caught off guard and excited as everyone else once the duo was announced! ...or so I've heard at least. You'll have to look it up for confirmation otherwise.

So, the father of Banjo & Kazooie wants to see the original N64 duology get remade in glorious HD too. Go for it, I say. If even a SpongeBob collect-a-thon platformer is getting remade, I don't see any conceivable reason why they shouldn't give the remastering treatment to Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie.

BlastProcX Wrong and not true. Being tied to a racing game and Smash doesn’t mean anything. Well no because Banjo & Kazooie do NOT live in the same universe. Diddy Kong Racing doesn’t count. Banjo only transported himself there. He lives in his own Banjo universe, he and Kazooie do NOT live in the Mario series. The same thing goes to DK and Conker. They live in separate universes. Not 1 universe.
@@chillplayer1234 Are you fucking stupid, In So you want some more proof that these two exist within the Mario Universe, after crossovers aren't generally canon, that is unless their is substantial proof. There is another character in Diddy Kong Racing, Tiptup the Turtle, who later appears in Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie, during his appearance, his and Banjo "racing days" are referenced. Also in Banjo Tooie, Kazooie mentions Mario in a conversation with the toilet Loggo. Then once again in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, LOG mentions that Banjo and Kazooie have no starred in nearly as many games as "The Italian Gentlemen" now, if there wasn't already a piece of evidence to go off this wouldn't be any substantial proof. But in addition to Tiptups appearance and Marios mention in Tooie, its safe to say Banjo, and in turn Conker, exist within the Mario universe. Banjo is in the same world as Donkey Kong, which is in the same world as Mario Bros, which is in the same world as Punch-Out.

If Banjo-Kazooie’s world is connected with Donkey Kong’s world, does that mean Banjo-Kazooie’s is also connected with Mario’s world, as well as Yoshi’s world?
That's been retconned since 2001, or should I say 2007 as Diddy Kong Racing DS retconned both Banjo's involvement and Conker's involvement in the story, replacing them with Tiny Kong and Dixie Kong.

@@KruelAidMan Seems like it's a take it or leave it for Nintendo as a result of Microsoft's purchase of Rare back in 2001 (2002 was when it went public; Rare was purchased during development of Super Smash Bros. Melee, most likely when the Japanese version was finished and Western localization was into its final touches). However, this results in a state of uncertainty, as Banjo recalls the events of DKR in Nuts & Bolts, but on the Nintendo side of things, the DS version is mostly referred by Nintendo, let alone the acknowledgement of the game.
Either way, it's a gray zone, just like Goldeneye.

Personally I think it would be great if the original 2 games got remastered in a project between nintendo and microsoft. I've always wanted to play them and playing them on switch would be great
They were already remastered for every Xbox console since 360, as a project between Rare and 4J Studios.

@@eeveeongirl The concept of a "remaster" doesn't even approach a "full on redo" like Crash and Spyro would have you believe; those "ports" of -Kazooie and -Tooie contained many cool optimisations like to the framerate, resolution and textures, added new dialogue fonts, Stop 'N' Swop and other stuff, that all definitely qualifies them as remasters. "Remake" is a much more accurate term for what you're asking for.

The biggest audio glitch in Tooie nobody ever talks about, is if you dive underwater to make the music change theme, then come back up, the channels for the BGM track get all messed up when trying to transition back to "regular" theme.
Thank you to the man who sacrificed themselves to get footage from banjo-kazooie nuts and bolts
