How to fix this game mode: Make it so that you can "buy" an item at any time, and the amount of money you have represent the value of the item you get, with some randomization. Say you get an item worth 50-150% of the money you have. So if you have 350 gold, you get an item with value from 175-525 gold, and if you have 5000 you get an item worth 2500-7500 gold. Reselling items is allowed because RNG = skill.
No joke bloodstone on juggernaut was the first thing I played that actually made me like this game back in 2013 because it gave me enough mana to spam the spin on creepwaves to push and get last hits.
She was doing fine, she got Yasha and Kaya on first item, Maelstrom on second item, and Maelstrom is incredibly strong early game like that. Third item she got silver edge. She just got really really lucky

can the maker of the mod not just make the item prices way lower internally so that when you sell them you get very little or no gold? edit: probably every items worth is 50 so you can sell them for 25 or 50 if you are at a shop. that way you need 7-14 items to get a new one.
