Now consider S2 was supposed to be released already, we still haven't seen anything resembling actual gameplay and recent pre-release testers describe it as "far from ready“ It's going to be another CP2077 situation, probably, so save your hype for 2025, when they patched things

True stalker is the most polished stalker mod and stable one to come out ever, yet I have a lot of gripes with the choices made, story element, story items taking up UI elements.. It is definitely worth a play though
When I was introduced to the Stalker series in 2008 with 'Clear Sky' I had no idea it would endure the way it did through the modding community, the original three games were great, they could be buggy sometimes but they were challenging AND different. I played Call of Duty, Far Cry 2, Fallout, but there wasn't the replay-ability that Stalker had. Keep on going!
With stalker mods I have kind of a "wackiness" scale. Between hardcore realism and wacky stuff cooked up by some slavs. SHoC falls in the middle, GAMMA if on the far "hardcore" and Oblivion Lost goes a lot into the wacky teritory. For True Stalker I think it achives SHoC vanilla "in the middle" but slightly pushed in both directions somehow. Talking mutants, some weird black smoke and stuff, this stuff is wacky, but there are tacticool weapons and nothing like artifact-raddiated-bolt-thrower-shotgun. Worth mentioning is that choices don't really matter much if at all.
Can you aim grenade launchers? Can you "dodge" pseudogiant pseudostomps with perfectly-timed jumps like you can in ShoC? Do snorks move around erratically like they do in CoP? And does your character cock the hammers on the TOZ-66 with his thumb or his palm?
2:53 Swamp part? Why? Because True Stalker does not have the Swamps in the game. There is only some references in the dialogue but you cannot go to Swamps.
I play True Stalker, that shit is SOOOO Easy in veteran dificult, you have 30 medkits in your 2 first hours I think Is better Stalker Anomaly or GAMMA that shit is insane in normal dificult

that site is official site it is russian mod so that is way it is on russian site,if you use google there is a built in translate extension that translates the site in english thats how i download it

It seems like it was written by a Chinese or Indian guy. Maybe they paid someone to read from a script, but I'm leaning toward AI generated, because a native English speaker would find it hard to make those mistakes without automatically correcting it.
the game is not that big i think it is about 30 gb and for me it installed about in 1 hour (with download) and it runs pretty well, atleast for me, and i dont have a really good pc.But it is up tp you of course

Pripyat was peak stalker for me even though soc was amazing experience when it first came
Lost Alpha is amazing, but it's a shame that no one takes it upon themselves to further develop and improve it....but i will try this one!

yeah i felt that to as i got further in game i thought there will be some fast travel way to levels or something but there wasn't
exactly why I gave up on it. This mod is meh. Not even the same essence as the actual stalker titles. It was fun for a little but super stale later.
