Testing 3 Sensory Kits

- Hey guys! Today I am going to test some more craft kits. I found these 3 kits at Hobby Lobby, and they are all sensory activities that I've been wanting to try forever (except the slimy sand lol). I am going to try clay cracking using air dry clay, sand cutting (which is very satisfying for ASMR) and something called "slimy sand." Is it slime? is it sand? we will find out!

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 28 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try).

@@rosepetal-irl a lot of artists make it seem like art is always about becoming the best, making no mistakes etc.. Depending on how the algorythm treats someones front page it can be pretty frustrating to see art presented as something kinda elite instead of something beautiful that can be done in different kind of ways :).

Hey Moriah! I have some info on the clay cracking box. Basically instead of buying a kit, you can use that lightweight air dry clay and coat it with clear nail polish. It should work the same. ❤❤

Moriah for the second kit 10:11 you should add a very small drop of water into the sand so it can become moist and has a better texture. I had that brand of sand and did that to solve the problem

Watching ME mature into a polished professional is kinda like watching a kid grow up; you love the latest version but you hate to lose the earlier version. Her 2019 baking videos are some of my favorites; she is so cute & funny in them. I have written comedy & done comedy & it takes a lot to make me laugh out loud. I laugh out loud at her 2019 baking videos. What ME has accomplished is amazing & requires a professional to lead it, plus she has two babies to take care of, yet she remains truly delightful and a joy to watch.👍👍👍

If you get different Kinetic Sand than it might work because Kinetic sand comes in different textures.

@@-iLikeToSleep- it means that my brain processes sensory information differently. It means that I am much more sensitive to little things like being touched and loud noises. It effects peopel who have it differently and I recommend looking it up if you are still confused 😊 I really don’t know more than that 😊. And Fridays are definitely the best day 😁

@@NotNandino I remember her saying in her Q&A last year that she makes usually 2-4 videos ! And even if I wasn’t correct, it doesn’t mean Moriah isn’t as hard-working. She still does all these while having children! And its still really impressive.

I have the best idea ever when you were shopping the other day for things on Amazon and trying to find stuff for your claw machine. I thought of my head sad when people send you their squishy’s for you to fix or or make them look so fancy, you can add all the old ones that people send you in your claw machine and when you want to paint one you use your claw machine to grab one in which ever one you grab is the one that you paint!!!

Having tried the sand thing I’d say at that price just buy the kinetic sand brand sand and kits(not the slime one you had) It’s ALOT better and more satisfying then ANY of the cheaper brands. You can also make it with flour(bake it to make it safe) and vegetable oil if you want to put in work for it 😂

You don't need to buy anything. You only need nail polish and clay. Roll the clay in to a ball and add 5 coats of nail polish
