Is there any better quality gearbox housing for this cars pal that you no of or are they all standard ones, Broke mine today but all I could find where plastic cheap ones on ebay🤔? Also these body shells are really flimsy an break easily I heard people duck taping the inside does this make a difference??
Hi, I don’t know of any other gearbox housing I just use the standard one! Also, I don’t think there is a lot you can do to toughen up the shells, if you leave them as standard then they are softer & more forgiving. I’ve got 6 shells & only ever broke 1 & I repaired it with super glue☺️ sorry that’s the best advice I can give!
@@MarkSmith-lh4fk No worries buddy thanks for the reply,Just bought another standard plastic gearbox housing Will see how we get on with that my 6 year old was giving it a bit of a bashing to be fair 😂🤦🏻♂️ Will give the duck tape ago on the inside of the shell it can't make it any worse than wot it already is 👌🏻💪🏻
@@MarkSmith-lh4fk like what are the mods on the inside like motor I don’t really know the names sorry but I think it’s transmitter and thing that make it turn and the on button and stuff
No problem! I’ve just upgraded my motor, will be posting a video soon! I’ve put a Hobbywing Max 10 4000kv and ESC which come together. This will max out the speed. Also changed the spur gear to a metal one along with the servo for the steering. They are the main things needed to max out the speed. Good luck!
