Voices meld nicely together, but backing a bit strong (ie too loud at times) drowning out Susan's beautiful vocals!
Astonished to hear belittling of Susan Boyle by Aled Jones on video clip of Aled talking to Sami Yusuf.viewed this morning. On mentioning Aled says firstly "Susan did well on Britains got Talent" then to makes things worst by saying towards the end of the clip talking of Susan " I THINK she was a finalist in Britains Got Talent. Well Aled maybe somebody should remind you that Susan has sold 25 million Albums to a worldwide following, has two Grammy Nominations, has almost 1 billion you tube hits and has sold the movie rights to her story to a hollywood stdio. Also in 2009 she was voted by USA Time Magazine in the top 10 most influential persons in the world for that year.. I could go on. It is clear from Aled's comments this morning Aled has little respect for Susan and obviously only got her on board to sell a few more Albums. So I for one will not be buying this Album. So sad I had to post this comment.Till now I thought Aled was a decent guy. How wrong was I.
I heard that too, and I hope he doesn't meant it that way. He was lucky to have her on his album. She sounds so beautiful.
@@annettelange9034 Thanks Annette. I could not believe he could be so deliberately crass. But then he did manage to disrespect her twice. Typical snobbery because she emerged from Talent Contest. There was a lot of it about at the beginning of her career but 11 years on and after great success i was surprised such an attitude still existed among fellow singers today. Quite astonishing given he asked her to contribute to his album.

@@grammyd Carol Thank You. What he said cannot be denied. It's plain as a pikestaff on interview with Sami Yusaf and is up on Aled's own site. Shocking disrespect to a fellow professional singer who let's face it just seemed used to increase Aled's Album sales. A very cynical move indeed!
@Adam - don't go down that path! 4 years ago! I had to. And had to defend him after that magnificent effort with his youngest dinkypupdoodle! With the two versions of the 23rd Psalm. I've one other defence to mount again and that has to do with the excluded track on his compilation. I certainly don't want to be deflected by this comment of yours! So don't attract my attention like this, again! I can only spare a single warning shot over your bows. Heed it!
So interesting to see a Jehovahs Witness sing being made commercial when they strictly teach to have nothing to do with 'the World' outside of their religion. And on the other hand, they would never, ever think of even singing a Christian song that other non JWs have written. This is a strange cult.
I believe he's not a witness, but, has recorded a song from the witness songbook (Listen, Obey, and Be Blessed), apparently without authorization. This has caused some confusion.
It's clear that he's not a Witness as he is singing songs from different religions.
But to say he is singing a Watchtower song without authorisation doesn't appear to be the case. For one thing, the song still remains on Yoitube and the Watchtower likes to shut down videos if they are using their copyrighted material without authority.
