God, how I wish we had an option to revisit these cinematic moments after completing the full storyline. Maybe through interacting with a 'bard' NPC or cataloging droid. Hell, even that protocol butler droid on the Fury.
I still want this to be a feature.

If only we still get to keep this ship and its weapon throughout the game.
Imagine a battlegroup led by a Silencer-equipped Harrower-class dreadnought against the Eternal Fleet.
I think at the end of Chapter 3 every class should get a bigger personal ship.
Sith Warrior/Inq get a Dreadnought
Imperial Agents get a Stealth Modified Frigate
Bounty Hunters get a Mandalorian Cruiser
Jedi get the Hammerhead
Troopers get that Huge ass Republic Ship
And Smugglers get a Hutt Cartel ship
@@Nephalem2002 it's a cool idea to some degree.
Imagine this- after successful battle on the planet, you just walk like a badass towards landing pad, escorted by some troops and say- alert my start destroyer to prepare for my arrival.
Given that the Silencer fleet was involved in the assault on the Meridian complex, they were apparently in the Empire in some numbers. As you can see, they didn't help much against the Eternal Fleet.
@@Nephalem2002 not that huge, valor(republic) is around 500m, dreadnaught heavy cruiser was 600m, acclimator around same size as harrower 780-800m
This was a quest that made me feel "I have the power now!" totally.

Inquisitor - Hell no! I ain't movin my Sith ass of this ship until the galaxy is mine! I ain't givin anyone a chance to destroy my ship with 1 hit... And once the empire belongs to the Empire we decommission this weapon.
+Galejro Lol so true, and where did the silencer go after this, I mean did the inquisitor just wake up one day and forget about the fact that he has the fire power to singlehandedly destroy any fleet that would get in his way.
MrAV8gaming Actually my comment is a bit outdated. With the "Shadow of Revan" expansion we get to see a conversation between Inquisitor and Moff Pyron. He reports that the Silencer project run into a couple snags. The Republic became aware of the project and developed strategies to avoid the cannon fire. Also the Silencers produced massive outputs of radiation that simply began to kill the cruiser crews, but they were working on neutralising that output.
+Galejro Ok, thanks for the update. I was wondering why The Silencer wasn't used against the Eternal Empire. But really, radiation killing the crew? Can't they just have a bunch of droids crew the ship?

Isn't the Silencer weapon basically the Gauntlet that was destroyed by Havoc Squad and that General Rakton was responsible for its creation?
It would certainly appear so, but I can’t find any links between the two on the wiki.
I thought the Gauntlet only shot at ships while they were in Hyperspace, or something.

Correct. The Gauntlet and the Silencer are two different things. One shoots ships in hyperspace, the other simply eradicates on a massive scale.
@@optimistprime3192 And the Desolator, presumably a weapon to similar specifications. Is considered a planet killer, considering what happened to Uphrades.. I'd personally consider that a Death Star Super Laser mounted on a Sith ISD.
Gauntlet was a gun that could shoot ships out of Hyperspace.
And then it was never used again.
I really like Darth Achelon's name. Idk what a Achelon is but I like name sounds powerful.
Achelon probably comes from the word "Echelon", which means "formation"
oh The Silencer someone (EA) Forgot that this weapon exists!!!! you know this could have been an excellent weapon against the eternal fleet!!!!
It's actually mentioned in the codex that the Silencers were used early on, but by then even the Republic had developed countermeasures that lessened it's effects and in the time-skip the Eternal Fleet destroyed what was left of them. They were eventually discontinued due to their high price and diminished effectiveness since the Eternal Empire was crippling both Sith and Republic under harsh tax.
Assuming you chose to keep the Silencers and upgrade them (the Republic had developed strategies to counteract the effects of the weapon) during one of the moments in one of the events leading up to Shadow of Revan, basically, the Eternal Fleet overwhelms them with sheer numbers.

Officially at the begining of Chapter 3, before Belsavis. However, it's already getting a bit hot at the begining of Chapter 2, about a year before the war officially began.
