My Costco here in Alberta Canada has this for 90 CAD or about $70 USD. Went online got Seafarers cities knights 3D for $250 CAD ($200 USD) including shipping.
I picked mine up yesterday and we played a game to be honest I don't think the price tag matches the quality.. I understand a lot of this was highly detailed but it's not like they're painted by hand these were all molded. I think 200 would have been a lot better of a price.
Thanks for the video! I ordered one of these despite the hefty price tag, and I'm excited to play mine once it arrives. Starfarers has also been my favorite Catan, I'm glad it got a reprint a few years ago!
I used to have a version of Catan that was themed around settling the American west and building train routes to the cities, it was pretty good but quite different than standard Catan
How do you set this up? You obviously cannot shuffle the tiles around like in the standard game. Are there cards you can shuffle for randomizing the tile positions?

Good question, So no cards came with the game for randomizing the tile positions. So when we played we just kind of placed them wherever they fell.

There are tons of apps to randomize the board
