I found at the Salvation Army store a bunch of old matchbox cars, grey and black wheels, about 70 of them in the carrying case. I paid 80 dollars for the case. That was about 3 years ago. Boy I was lucky!😁
im 15 and got 31 matchboxes with original boxes also fx m8 transporter with original slide-box and 3 blister from 1972, all of them are from 1958-1979 i just love them
Hmmm. Tough choice if I'm a Hot Wheels or a Matchbox kinda guy Steve. I mean, they really produced some excellent cars and fun playing on them on my tracks I use to build going up...Maybe I'll stick with Micro Machines until I make a decision. 8^) Well done as always Steve. @@trainsntile Just curious I have to have one of each green cab and yellow cab I have quite a few Vintage Lesney matchbox cars that I have not been able to find much doing research what is the best avenue so finding values would you by chance know. Thanks in advance for any information you may have or be willing to share.
@@b-n-psportscards8374 If you have a "green cab" & yellow rear deck, you've got a WONDERFUL rare item! I never was able to get one of those- too much $$ at the time. There are also many other items that were painted at Lesney, but the 'powers-that-be' didn't like them, so the paint schemes were scrapped. Many of those were kept by the then Lesney employees instead of being thrown away!! You may see some of these on eBay. To buy them, however, is another story!!
@@trainsntile I have found a couple other stories I have the version that was made at the factory in 1970 (pirate version) sent some pics of the one I have to a couple different people and found the last and only one like mine sold in 2018. I was able to pick up second hand in an estate lot. Either way it is valuable. Glad I was able to snag it. Thanks for the input.

It's I have that vw in quite bad condition 2 owners how much same with a few milk floats and a greyhound
It seems to me that the boxes are reproduction of today and models are not all from '60...
They were real. I sold them all long ago

No, my Dad was about to throw them in the trash. Then he asked me to sell them since he knew I did online sales. He gave them to me to sell.
