Cthulhu may yet rise, but for now the uncaring universe just makes a very cynical cat start talking.Travel from Darkham to Transylvania, control 3 protagonists, deal with strange cultists, ancient voodoo, and Cthulhu Himself. A comedy cosmic horror adventure made in Transylvania.

Reactions here are the same I had when I played the kickstare demo two years ago and decided to help funding this. After two years much has changed ... everything has even become better than the demo already was. This game will be a new point and click adventure milestone. It looks great, sounds great and the most important thing it has Kitteh, the talking cat in it.

Just picked this one up on Switch. Not very far in yet, but everything about it so far takes me back to the Lucasarts/Broken Sword days in all the right ways.
Forget the demo! After watching this trailer, I'm gonna grab the game right away! Hand drawn animation? Talking cat? Cthulhu?! Sign me up!

I'm aspiring to be a game programmer/designer and this game of yours looks so clean and well done! Will definitley be studying some tips and mechanics from this. Lovecraftian horror has always been one of my favorites. If i may ask, how many people did it take to complete this awesome looking journey? And how long did it take you guys? Thanks!
Hey there! Three people, for most of the time. We've worked on the demo for 1 year but just on and off, not full time, and then 3 years full time. We've had a couple of programmers help with content implementation towards the end, since there was just so much audio and animation to put into the game.

I played this great point and click adventure on my switch and enjoyed it a lot as a Fan of the good ol Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Fullthrottle, The Day of the Tentacle, Riddle of Master Lu, Monkey Island and all other great ones....Times 😂 this Game had me fast straight hooked and makes addictive. The whole Lovecraft Theme was funny but also mysterious and with a good twist. Appearances of other Games as Easter Eggs are also nice to see how the Guys give credits.😊 (sorry for my English)

i played it and finished it in 13 hours..it is a really awesome game! especially the graphics..is there a similar game out on the market? i am searching for another new cool adventure (I played lots of lucas arts adventures in the 90tis)

Hey Pixel Dream. The bad news is that our main actor has had a sudden very serious health issue that he's addressing at the moment. That was the plan, yeah - we will be indefinitely delayed, and we really have no idea about a release date right now. We'll update the website to this effect, thanks for the headsup!

@@Trexmaster12 Salut. Dimpotriva, nu suntem deloc regionalisti si ne simtim bine oriunde mergem in tara asta. Transilvania e pur si simplu locul unde se intampla o parte din actiune. Aproape de fiecare data cand e mentionata in joc, apare ca "Transylvania, Romania", deci indignarea nu-si are rostul. Jocul nu are nicio treaba cu politica, e escapism pur. PS: Am fost finantati pe Kickstarter, iar Bucurestiul e orasul din care am primit cele mai multe pledge-uri. Noroc!
@@GibbousTheGame Regionalismele și „miuțele” ăstea sunt contraproductive ( _se văd_ într-un cadru mai amplu & împletit de alți jucători și _„jucători”_ ), ele nu fac altceva decât să sporească _alte_ mișcări, _alte_ pecetluiri, ce nu țin cont intrinsec de divertisment & jocuri, DAR, țin cont de exponente culturale și (indirect) diplomatice, care ne sunt (pe plan macro & regional; chiar continental) defavorizante. Că asta e situația, acum, cu România; e ceva ce trebuie înfruntat de noi toți, asta-i situația vremurilor impuse. Pe de altă parte, repulsia asta regionalistă interioară, din ce în ce mai accentuată pe plan mediatic (din ce în ce mai consistent), față de „Regat” și „regățeni”, voalată sau nu, se comit niște intermitențe care riscă niște rupturi iremediabile.
E foarte bine și frumos că „regățenii” (sau _„miticii”_ ?) v-au ajutat; foarte bine, înseamnă că „regățenii” _încă vor_ și nu sunt, cu toate „bubele” tuturor adunate, cicălitori agresiv-fataliști ... „Miuțele”, însă, rămân la vedere și vor fi clar observate de _alții_ - că doar e un joc menit să fie vândut pe piața mondială, nu doar în România.
„Că ne place sau nu ne place”, _zicea Pericle_ , „politicile [interioare și exterioare] vor avea întotdeauna interese asupra noastră” - iar conjuncturile _„meandrelor concretului”_ extrateritoriale _abia așteaptă_ „miuțe” din acestea scăpate (ăstea sunt cele mai „zemoase”), să le folosească într-o dată ulterioară, în circumstanțe potrivnice lor.
Sănătate & succes cu alte proiecte mai mărețe și mult mai bănoase.
@@Trexmaster12 Te înțeleg, însă sunt miuțe care nu ne interesează și nu-și au locul în proiectul nostru. Nu sunt nici eu încântat de faptul că nu pot folosi numele regiunii în care trăim fără să se presupună tot felul de conotații care n-au nicio legătură cu ce facem noi aici. Repet - jocul ăsta e 100% apolitic. Motivul pentru care e foarte inspirat de Ardeal e dictonul "write about what you know." Sunt mare fan Lovecraft, el a scris aproape exclusiv despre New England, unde a trăit și scris, eu fac la fel cu Transilvania, asta nu mă face mai puțin român. Mai sunt și alte motive care țin de scenariu - o parte din el extrapolat de un fragment din "The Case of Charles Dexter Ward" care se întâmplă într-un oraș fictiv de undeva de pe lângă Cluj - eu l-am adus în Forum Maris, o versiune fantastică a Tîrgu Mureșului. Nu prea le avea Lovecraft cu geografia României, dar dat fiind anul în care scria, eu zic că putem să îl iertăm de data asta :)
Îți spun sincer, nu înțeleg de ce insiști cu termeni gen "regățeni" și "mitici", care îmi displac profund și pe care nu i-am folosit niciodată. Suntem toți la fel de români și ne confruntăm cu aceleași probleme, de care sper că putem uita preț de câteva ore jucând un adventure făcut în România. Îți înțeleg îngrijorările într-o oarecare măsură, dar trebuie să înțelegi și faptul că aici e vorba de un joc pe care încercăm să îl marketăm cât mai larg, și Transilvania e - din motive hilare, dacă stăm să ne gândim bine, da' asta e - cunoscută de mai toată lumea, și se leagă de specificul jocului (comedy cosmic horror). Te asigur, din nou, că publicul țintă nu e câtuși de interesat de ce probleme interne avem noi pe aici, îi interesează cel mai probabil atmosfera și conexiunile cu Stoker, și exact aia vor primi (mă rog, o versiune în care facem un pic mișto de clișeele astea). Apropos, e și hilar și absurd că sunt o grămadă de oameni care nu realizează că Transilvania chiar există - eu mi-am facut un obicei, când sunt întrebat de unde sunt, să spun "Transylvania, Romania", cam cum fac americanii când menționează și numele statului. Răspunde la mai multe întrebări, e concis și nu mă doare gura să o fac.
M-am lansat cu ocazia asta în explicații care nu țin de Gibbous, și prefer să n-o fac, pentru că nu despre asta e vorba în joc. Sper că te-am lămurit un pic :) Mersi pentru urări, sperăm să meargă ok și să putem face și mai mult data viitoare.
