I got an APX A1, and am having a hard time getting the locking pin out of the mag release. Tried a paperclip and safety pin, pressed pretty firmly, but it wasnt coming out, any ideas?
Shouldn’t have to push very hard. Does the mag release function properly? If you have something stiffer like an Allen wrench, place that against a work bench with the APX frame over it and press toward the table. It is spring loaded so hold on to the release button. Might want to do it inside a large ziploc bag.
I don't think i have an allen that small, but I ordered a steel push set last night to use instead. The manual states that if it is firm to get out, try gently hammering it (with a brass head hammer I imagine) - so I'll try your suggestion with the strong push when it comes in & lyk how it goes. @@PoeOutdoors

I have the newer apx blowback and the assembly is a little different I can’t put it back together

Actually you don’t need to take the slide out. Just begin without the slide steps
