  • This video is about the H-Pattern Shifter I made from scratch. It is mostly 3D printed and used hall effect sensors and magnets to detect gear position.
    In this video, I show off prototypes, how its made, the electrics, and the code behind sending input to the PC.

    Hey Just wanted to say HUGE thank you! This is honestly awesome, and even better that you are keeping this public and Opensource. Thank you so much!!
    I've watched your 3 videos in this series and it's super clear what you are doing. So thanks for that. I've been looking into DIYing my own simracing set up because I can't be bothered to pay a lot of money for something that will eventually break or stop working, so open source was my preference as it can be maintained and improved overtime by us users.

    I love your pedals! They are EPIC!
    This on the other hand it's very strange 😂haha. Buuuuy i think it could be modified to act as a "column shifter" like older cars have. Just an idea some people would love.
    Keep designing! I cant wait for your take on secuencial shifter and handbrake 👏🤩
