My father drove this car for over 10 years without a big issue despite the abuse it endured. It was manual 1500cc. This is something I will still buy if I find A clean one.
I own the Corona Premio NYOKA Model 1997 (7A-FE), on Uganda's roads since 2005 and I decided to keep it for life. Its now @320K millage but it rolls like new. very cheap to maintain - I just pay attention to cheap regular servicing, rubber fittings (Engine mountings, bushes, good tires and shock absorbers) and rub shoulders with the Premio 240s and 260s🤩🤩
Snake...My favorite was the 2.0 "Limited" Umesahau ikizeeka vumbi ilikuwa ikiingia kwa boot. Hapo kwa due diligence, very true. Excellent work with a CK
I took my first solo long distance drive in a premio, after getting my DL, powerful and reliable... true beast in its class. The 7A-FE engine was one of the best engines toyota made
Wale wa masafa understand this machine very well.stable, fast and Hardy.A real NYOKA enthusiast hardly argue over price.A clean unit can fetch 500-550k or there about.
this is really interesting and a joy to watch, i currently own this car with a manual transmission and its very reliable easy to maintain then coincidentally my workmate owns the carina, my brother even said this car is so good youll just be changing the tyres.
i believe i have one of the best looking versions of this car in kenya. Cream with a blacked out leather interior. I often think of selling it but common sense takes over. Might keep it forever and do a gear swap to manual after this video.
East Africa is lucky to have these Japanese Domestic Models (JDM). Japanese cars made in Japan, for the Japanese market, are the most reliable cars you can buy.
This the 1st Toyota car that I experienced with an automatic transmission funny they never had problems but performed very well. I thought all had a 7a moving upwards didn't know a 5a engine was apart of this car..great learning point
My dad owned this car and it was passed down to me after his demise, thought of selling it.. until I watched this video thank you.. Eric for the insight.
Good job Erick and company, am requesting if you could put together all this premio models from the 90's to the latest one together when comparing this cars. Thank you
I've been away for a while. I'm now back and I'm happy tumefika 101K subs. Nliwacha tukiwa 78K. Great content as always 💯💯, apa nikona kibarua ya kuwatch all the videos kutoka mtoke rally😅😅😅. I know I'll enjoy them no doubt. 💯 Feels good to be back.
How in the world would anyone doubt a Toyota??? Sijawahi elewa hiyo sentiment. So you know how good Toyota's reputation is around the world, in America alone, where 15 million plus brand new, mbichi cars and trucks are sold per year, the number one 4 door sedan sold every year from the factory for the last 20 years is a Toyota Camry at over 300,000 units a year. Followed by the Toyota Corolla with over 250,000 units last year. Beating all their domestic makes , Ford , Chevrolet and Chrysler in the saloon car market. They beat them so bad that Ford stopped making saloon and hatchback cars for sale there. There is a reason so many people plonk down their money for them and it's bullet proof reliability, ease of maintenance and fuel economy. Hi story ya kudharau Toyota muwache.
nice review erick it is a comfortable car to drive and ride please do more test review on toyota corolla 110 and toyota hilux double cab the legend thanks for the amazing content
This version did not have a 1500cc f variant. The Gle was one with 4A 1600cc. The smallest engine of this. You have forgotten also the diesel variant with 3C engines
I have a nyoka that I can offer for the 3s/manual swap project and make a sleeper. For free. There's a Supra that parks around 680 Hotel. Review that car. It's a 2JZ
For so many years I have heard people praising this car. Thank you for the Review, I now understand why this car is loved by so many people. If possible do a review for the Toyota 110
Na watuwangu msisahau kufika kwa page yangu pia mfanye ile kitu... Mi hufanya content ya engines overhaul.... Najua pia mtanisaidia nifike place Erico amefika👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Kindly Erick, when you mention these machines,as you explain, let us be having images so that we can easily relate.Otherwise good going.
Yes, Erick take heed to this. Thankyou

I took my first solo long distance drive in a premio, after getting my DL, powerful and reliable... true beast in its class. The 7A-FE engine was one of the best engines toyota made
I had the d4 variant, with proper care it's also a reliable engine and can launch faster than the 7a variant
Wale wa masafa understand this machine very well.stable, fast and Hardy.A real NYOKA enthusiast hardly argue over price.A clean unit can fetch 500-550k or there about.
I take 4hrs to mombasa with this boy...people chase me n stop to ask what the machine has..🤣
