Caught Sailfish off Panama, lots of Roosters off Cabo (when I was sober enough, that is!), 100's of Barracuda off SoCal, 6 species of Sharks ("tons" of Blues and Makos), and dozens of Albacore, but never in a Kayak...!
That has GOT to be a Helluva RUSH, in a 'Yak... (And here I am... "Land-Locked" in Arkansas with my 'Yaks and only Bass to catch!). Haha!
If I was younger, I'd be taking you up on your fishing trip - Even if I had to SAVE for it...! Haha!

When a massive fish is pulling you in a kayak it does feel like your going to tip instantly. So I understand why he let that sailfish go 😂
If your drag is set correctly and your rod tip is at the bow then it doesnt feel like your going to tip.

28 pound Mexican barracuda is the record caught here I believe
Not big, they’re not the greater barracuda that we catch in Florida.

Naw, don’t eat them in Florida. They routinely have ciguetera because of the reefs there. This is a different species in a different ocean.
