You are unique among all Reaction Shows. Great diversity in music, intelligent, brilliant commentary, and a deep love for the magic in the music. Thank you for all your hard work. Chet's version of "Almost Blue" is iconic. You should give it a try. Also might look into Michael Frank's "Living On The Inside," "Rainy Night In Tokyo," and "Tiger In The Rain."
Such a beautiful piece of music. Chet's voice so beautiful not to be out done by his brilliance on the trumpet. Love older clips of musicians with the orchestral backing and the brushes on the drums. Another sad loss to drugs. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Romello. Cheers from Canada. 🇨🇦
Chet was a prime example of how drugs can ruin a life. He lost that front tooth when he was badly beaten by drug dealers, probably when he refused to come up with the money. It of course began his decline as a trumpeter when he lost the ability to hit certain notes. If you want to hear him sing at his peak the album "Chet Baker Sings" is his finest. His singing and playing are very good on the album "Chet" which is on Riverside records
I’ve never heard this before, his voice seemed to come from his soul and it reached across time to mine. Thank you Dear Harri… may you have a blessed day.
I see that you posted a bit of a tribute to David Crosby. Thought you'd like to know that David loved Chet Baker. Said one that when he was a kid, while all his friends were listening to Elvis, he was listening to Chet Baker. :)
Chet was a passable singer but that horn! No matter how you slice it, Chet was one cool cat. His personal life was tragic but that seems to come with profession of jazz musician.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful music.
Tragic life of a great musician. The way he played the Trumpet was something. Drugs have ruined many a human being.
That is just a stunning song, to start with, but also pretty damn rangy, and he sang the daylights out of it.

Wow - a Chet Baker reaction? Very cool - very unexpected! What a great jazz artist. Thank you!
I sit in my couch and meander with my horn and imagine Chet. If I could play my horn like anyone, it would be Chet. Harry James a close second.
Check out his classic version of "My Funny Valentine."
Excellent choice!

I can't tell you how much I love Chet Baker and I hadn't heard him for a while. Nice Romello and Harri.
Check out anything else by Chet Baker. Doesn't matter what it is. You'll like it.
Some old school jazz, this was just fricken amazing, loved it
So beautiful. Thanks for reacting. I did not know that one.
I love Chet. Great choice Romello and Harri.
All of his stuff is great. Feel free to listen to more! BTW, that's a flugelhorn he's playing in this video.
Do more Chet Baker: "Almost Blue."
The Trumpet Crys!

I just recently got into Chet Baker. Wow what a groove

More jazz please !
Hell yeah!
Jazzy and mellow. Cool jam.
Harri..don't forget Genius Gregory Porter! I'm addicted to Porter!
So exquisitely beautiful ❤
Smoooooooooth....

If you say you are into Chet Baker, then men admire you, and a certain type of woman will be tempted to fall in love with you.
Dreamy yet mournful too
Wow, this takes me back to my early 20s.
cool chet baker reaction ❤❤
chet was an amazing talent...too many demons.
Have you listened to Gato Barberi??? Namaste 🙏🕉🌸
Love Gato...especially "Last Tango in Paris" and his take on Santana's "Europa." "Caliente" was my favorite Barbieri album.
Let's get lost.
Not my fave junkie "singer", tbh.
💀🤣
