Here I am, 6 years after you shared your special Maddie with all of us, and I'm getting teary eyed knowing how special she was to you. We certainly do love our "fur babies." We are so blessed that God has given us such wonderful creatures to be our companions.

You guys were just awesome to put your dog in a wagon when she couldn't walk. Let's face it, a lot of people wouldn't do that, let alone take a senior dog rving with them. I think it's wonderful how Maddie got to enjoy all the things she loved and to see different animals and enjoy the water. You guys are great. Sorry for your lost. I have tons of cats and two dogs, and I have lost animals before. It's so hard. Will keep you all in pray!

We're so sorry for your loss! David and I can't even talk about Sweetie getting older (she'll be 4 this October) let alone even think about fill timing without her. Maddie was very fun to watch and we're so happy she got to experience this wonderful journey with your family. Pets are family, and they are very hard to say goodbye to when it comes time. She wasn't even my pup and your loss leaves me heartbroken for you.

Well, I put off watching this for a long time because I know myself and my love for dogs. That was an amazing tribute to her…that beautiful, wonderful, sweet girl. I’ve been there……7 times. It never gets easier. Because we love them so much and don’t want them to suffer it’s, at the same time, a very easy yet difficult decision. Thank you for loving her enough to do what was right. For her. I’ve been enjoying Charlie so much. That handsome, silly guy. What memories you’re already making with him. It was a hard video to make but I thank you for doing it.

I cried the whole 15 minutes.. just spending all day watching all your videos. I really do love watching your videos and yes pets are part of our life.. We don't have a pet right now but we will again maybe once we get used to the RV full time lifestyle. My heart aches for a fur child again. RIP Maddie.

NOOOOOO! It's so hard losing a furbaby, I had to put my Vikki asleep a few years ago and I still cry on the anniversary. After her passing, I vowed to never get another cat...I have two now. RIP Maddie, you will be missed. Hugs and kisses to the family.

I’m a new subscriber and I’ve been wondering what happened to Maddie. Having been a Golden owner myself, I know how wonderful they are. Our Sophie was a water-loving Golden, too. Some of my best memories of her are of a Thanksgiving week we shared with another family. We stayed in a campground that had RV’s onsite for rental. We had our son and Sophie and they had 2 kids and 2 Retrievers. Our son finally learned to ride a bike and the 3 dogs had a grand time in the lake on the property. I miss those days and all three of those dogs, especially our sweet Sophie. I have no doubt Maddie’s final years were some of the best years of her life. P.S, Sophie didn’t do steps from a young age. She developed hip dysplasia as a pup and got a hip replacement at 18 months. Fortunately, we had a 1story home. However, every time she would get in the minivan, she would put her front paws just inside the entryway to the van than she would turn around and look at you. You know she was saying, “Are you going to give me a boost or what?”
Oh. Yeah, we miss that old girl still. I heard the song I used to edit the video while searching for music a couple days ago and almost started crying. But overall, we're more happy than sad that we got so much time with her.
What a wonderful tribute to a beautiful loving pet. I'm a 67 year old man who's lost several pets throughout the years and loved each and every one as thought they were my very own child. I also travel with my Yorkie and tuxedo cat and they enjoy the trips we've taken probably as much if not more that we have. They both love watching the road as we drive along on our yearly adventure in our RV. We have so many happy memories as we know you do! Keep enjoying the open roads! This was such a beautiful story. We lost our Golden retriever four years ago (he was 10 year old). It's hard loosing a pet because they are just like one of your kids. We are older, almost retirement age and thought we are not getting another dog! Well a year after Sammy passed we go a golden doodle. He looks like a big sheep dog! He is a handful, but we adore him. He has so much attitude and yet is so loving. Next summer we are buying our first hard shell camper so I love watching your videos.
I was crushed to watch this as I have been through two family furry members pass away. You have given her the best life and it was emotional to hear you share it with us. She was very lucky to have you as her family. She was so beautiful! Your videos are priceless, continuing to watch.
Still cry everytime I watch this. Mine is 13 and I know it's coming. Recently bought an rv and made two trip with my boy so far. He loved every minute and hope we can continue in the spring. You had the most perfect ending to this video with Maddies name and the waves. Gone forever but never forgotten.

Our pets are just such amazing companions and truly the most treasured members of our families in terms of knowing that their overall lifespan is so limited. I still have vivid dreams of my Irish Setter 'Murphy' 28 years after having to put him down. I didn't handle it well then in my very early 20's, and I'm not sure I would handle it any better now in my early 50's. This is a great video and thanks for sharing her with us!
I am proud of you that you could do that video. Thank you. We cried for a year after our sweet Golden passed on. We still get choked up. Some people just don't understand how they become a part of you, and how thankful you can be for helping you raise your children.

GUYS.... I am a dog groomer for my real job, and I know how hard it is when a client loses a dog. I am crying right now, but you guys DID give her the dogs life of a lifetime. (Does that make sence?) I am so glad you made this video, you needed to for YOU and for US! When we married my husband says to me," You let the dogs sleep in the bed?" I said "YES and now you do too!".... I didnt want to take them camping because they would get dirty and being a dog groomer, I like clean dogs..... needless to say, we got a camper with an outdoor shower, and the dogs are going with!!!! Is a new dog in your future?
I'm so sorry for your loss. You gave Maddie the best end of life experience. I have a 12-year-old German Shepherd that loved to go RVing with us every since he was a puppy. Is there a new puppy in the future for you? After our first German Shepherd passed I think we lasted about 2 weeks befoe we got the shepherd we currently have. Have safe travels.
RV Life is so great for dogs. I think we need a little break from dogs. Maddie being old was pretty easy, but puppies and travel is another story. Because we're preparing for sailing... we might wait a while. There are LOTS of dogs at the rv park in Mexico and the boys are walking them everyday. That has helped.
God love her!! It's crazy what a dog can do for a person. They just curl up on your heart and that imprint lasts a lifetime! Maddie will be missed! #farewelltour

I also am so sorry for your loss. I loved watching her swim and just be with her family. I have a 14+ yr old shiz tzu that recently Rv'd down to Fl and back to nh 4 weeks ago alone and was stuck to me like glue. Had to stop every 2 hrs for pee breaks. Never laid down unless I stopped, made a nervous wreck out of me. But we made it back. 3000 miles made us both nervous wrecks. I quickly discovered that truckers don't like RVs period. 95 in the NE can be nasty! Keep the faith

Just found you guys after doing some research on RV's. I saw the RV tour (hilarious) and then clicked on this. I lost my 16 year old Beagle, Bailey, just 16 days ago and this video really touched me. What a great tribute to Maddie. What a wonderful, loving, life she had! Hope you all have had some time to heal. Lovely to know there are other people out there that love their dogs as much as I did. Bailey loved the water also and loved to bark at and chase birds at the beach here in the PNW. Maybe Maddie and Bailey are having a grand old time doing what they loved in life. It's a nice thought anyway. All the best to your family!

Very sorry for your loss. My family and I just purchased our first RV, and have been watching your videos in preparation for spring 2018. We don't have a dog, but have come to love Maddie, as well as all of you. Keep up the great work, and maybe someday our families can meet somewhere at a campground.

She developed hip dysplasia as a pup and got a hip replacement at 18 months. Fortunately, we had a 1story home. However, every time she would get in the minivan, she would put her front paws just inside the entryway to the van than she would turn around and look at you. You know she was saying, “Are you going to give me a boost or what?”

Oh. Yeah, we miss that old girl still. I heard the song I used to edit the video while searching for music a couple days ago and almost started crying. But overall, we're more happy than sad that we got so much time with her.

What a wonderful tribute to a beautiful loving pet. I'm a 67 year old man who's lost several pets throughout the years and loved each and every one as thought they were my very own child.
I also travel with my Yorkie and tuxedo cat and they enjoy the trips we've taken probably as much if not more that we have. They both love watching the road as we drive along on our yearly adventure in our RV. We have so many happy memories as we know you do!

This was such a beautiful story. We lost our Golden retriever four years ago (he was 10 year old). It's hard loosing a pet because they are just like one of your kids. We are older, almost retirement age and thought we are not getting another dog! Well a year after Sammy passed we go a golden doodle. He looks like a big sheep dog! He is a handful, but we adore him. He has so much attitude and yet is so loving. Next summer we are buying our first hard shell camper so I love watching your videos.
I'm crying too. I feel your pain. I had my sweet Emma for 14-15 years...she's been gone a little over 2 years..I still cry over her. Bless you all.

Hydrotherapy for dogs happens/works for a reason. It probably felt soooo good to have gravity off her joints. What a sweetheart.
I was crushed to watch this as I have been through two family furry members pass away. You have given her the best life and it was emotional to hear you share it with us. She was very lucky to have you as her family. She was so beautiful! Your videos are priceless, continuing to watch.

Still cry everytime I watch this. Mine is 13 and I know it's coming. Recently bought an rv and made two trip with my boy so far. He loved every minute and hope we can continue in the spring. You had the most perfect ending to this video with Maddies name and the waves. Gone forever but never forgotten.

Our pets are just such amazing companions and truly the most treasured members of our families in terms of knowing that their overall lifespan is so limited. I still have vivid dreams of my Irish Setter 'Murphy' 28 years after having to put him down. I didn't handle it well then in my very early 20's, and I'm not sure I would handle it any better now in my early 50's. This is a great video and thanks for sharing her with us!
I am proud of you that you could do that video. Thank you. We cried for a year after our sweet Golden passed on. We still get choked up. Some people just don't understand how they become a part of you, and how thankful you can be for helping you raise your children.
Yes I'm crying!! it's such a sad video but such a wonderful video, I'm happy you all had a wonderful life with Maddie! and I'm happy that she got to lay to rest in such a wonderful place with her fellow canines. what a wonderful life she had! Oh that just made me cry so sorry for you loss! We just had to say good bye to our 13 yr Shepard mix she loved camping and hiking but was not a water dog.

GUYS.... I am a dog groomer for my real job, and I know how hard it is when a client loses a dog. I am crying right now, but you guys DID give her the dogs life of a lifetime. (Does that make sence?) I am so glad you made this video, you needed to for YOU and for US! When we married my husband says to me," You let the dogs sleep in the bed?" I said "YES and now you do too!".... I didnt want to take them camping because they would get dirty and being a dog groomer, I like clean dogs..... needless to say, we got a camper with an outdoor shower, and the dogs are going with!!!! Is a new dog in your future?

I'm so sorry for your loss. You gave Maddie the best end of life experience. I have a 12-year-old German Shepherd that loved to go RVing with us every since he was a puppy. Is there a new puppy in the future for you? After our first German Shepherd passed I think we lasted about 2 weeks befoe we got the shepherd we currently have. Have safe travels.
RV Life is so great for dogs. I think we need a little break from dogs. Maddie being old was pretty easy, but puppies and travel is another story. Because we're preparing for sailing... we might wait a while. There are LOTS of dogs at the rv park in Mexico and the boys are walking them everyday. That has helped.

This breaks my heart... my Corgi is only 7 years old and i know in a few years we will start counting down the years.
I also am so sorry for your loss. I loved watching her swim and just be with her family. I have a 14+ yr old shiz tzu that recently Rv'd down to Fl and back to nh 4 weeks ago alone and was stuck to me like glue. Had to stop every 2 hrs for pee breaks. Never laid down unless I stopped, made a nervous wreck out of me. But we made it back. 3000 miles made us both nervous wrecks. I quickly discovered that truckers don't like RVs period. 95 in the NE can be nasty!

Yeah, we miss the old girl. But we're so grateful that she came with us made it so long. By the way, we grouped videos in playlist to make it easier to catch-up. National parks, Cities, how to, etc.
Just found you guys after doing some research on RV's. I saw the RV tour (hilarious) and then clicked on this. I lost my 16 year old Beagle, Bailey, just 16 days ago and this video really touched me. What a great tribute to Maddie. What a wonderful, loving, life she had! Hope you all have had some time to heal. Lovely to know there are other people out there that love their dogs as much as I did. Bailey loved the water also and loved to bark at and chase birds at the beach here in the PNW. Maybe Maddie and Bailey are having a grand old time doing what they loved in life. It's a nice thought anyway. All the best to your family!

Very sorry for your loss. My family and I just purchased our first RV, and have been watching your videos in preparation for spring 2018.
We don't have a dog, but have come to love Maddie, as well as all of you. Keep up the great work, and maybe someday our families can meet somewhere at a campground.
