Maestro’s artistry talents have no boundaries! He is a true pianist that will stay loved for as long as we live! Amazing performance and dazzling technique once again Sung Chang!
It's one of the easiest and simplest etudes, just simple arpeggios, chords and trills. The two later versions of the piece (s.137/1 and s.139/1 (this one)) are simpler and subjectively easier than the first version (s.136/1), which he wrote when he was 15.
Can you please play a Liszt operatic fantasy? Preferably the norma fantasy or the Don Juan fantasy, imo they are perfect for your virtuosic style and even though they are long, they are 100% worth it, and Norma is not too time consuming to learn
Maestro has been practicing #9 in his last 4 streams. In fact he played #9 twice on yesterday's stream. You can watch the upload under Live. He played the entire TE set and several bonus pieces.
he brought back the old animation style🥳🎉
fancy seeing you here
Wow! Hearing it at 90bpm makes it sound like something I might be able to play someday, inspires me to practice haha.

@dunkleosteus430I have just completed learning s.136, and it is definetly simpler both technically and musically.
@@vurri7290 for the first etude?
@dunkleosteus430 yes. I was talking about s.136 no.1
Coming along swimmingly Traum!
Very nice progress! Could we hope for more video of this kind on other Transcendental études?
Tysm, Maestro. Love it!
Traum Piano, do you have ever played the Franz Liszt Romance S.577i or the S.576b, but the
S. 576b is for tri hands i think?🙏

The red color of 170 bpm is reminiscent of your original TE no 1 synthesia recording

Its motivating to see that even a world class pianist like yourself practices slowly.
