Back in 1986 I was in the toy department at Hills with my mom, and the second wave of M.A.S.K. vehicles had just landed. I fell in love at first sight with Hurricane, but my mom said that one was too expensive and I'd have to wait for my birthday in a couple months. I begrudgingly picked out Firefly instead. When I got home and slapped it together it was awesome and immediately became one of my favorites. When my birthday came around I finally got Hurricane. I loved it, but it wasn't as much fun as Firefly.

I remember having this and a few of the other M.A.S.K. vehicles, as well as the gas station back when I was a kid. Pretty awesome toys in my opinion. I have no idea where all of it is now though :P I might have traded them for something else back in the day.
Wish they had added some more articulation to the arms on these guys! Don't forget when you do Trakker to add the GI Joe variant they did a few years ago to the review cause that was an AWESOME move by Hasbro to make his figure into a GI Joe!
I bought a bunch load of these vehicles and figures in good condition, cheap cause the guy needed the money and they are in good condition. I love them.
11 more? that's awesome. As much as I loved Transformers, I think this series eked out a little more love from me. I remember always looking for MASK-like alt modes for my Transformers figure, like folding PM Prime up to look like a tank.
Damn you, Peaugh! I've been wanting to re-collect these for years but I'm finally pulling the trigger after seeing these reviews. I always wanted Thunderhawk as a kid so he'll be my first purchase. I love 3rd Gen F-body cars. My first car was actually a red Camaro of the same vintage as Thunderhawk and I currently roll a 1982 Trans Am KITT replica so that's a no brainer. I think as a kid I just had Condor, Raven (who was KITT from Knight Rider in my fictional universe even though it was a Corvette. The front razor blades kinda look like his scanner!), Hurricane, and Stiletto. I believe I had series 1 Trakker and Miles figures from the two pack format. T-Bob and Trakker's kid and the adventure pack Miles also. Great toys and I wonder what Hasbro has in mind for them since they are bringing them back soon. I wonder if we'll see licensed vehicles or close enough looking stuff like they've been doing with the Transformers Generations stuff.
I remembered Firefly when I got an Armada Starscream a long time ago. Wound-up coming up with a fan mode for 'Screamer's mini-con Swindle by putting his arms out all the way and forgot where the original idea came from.
I had no idea he had a doctorate. I could never remember which lever did which. I'd always ended up releasing the bomb when I wanted to deploy the wings.
I seriously want to track down Matt Tracker ( I think he had the red car with the door wings) and his vehicle and the Semi Truck and his pilot..Im gonna need to probably work extra hours for them lol. hey, do you have any of the Dino Rider figures? If so, could you review those as well?
I had the semi truck too, but for some reason it went missing, all I got left from it was the missile from the flip-out gun on the top =( I think I remember it being triangle-shaped with two holes in it. Not seen it for a while (it's in the attic somewhere, lol).
I had his first vehicle along with him, called Thunderhawk. Loved it to bits. Could never find him again after the move. It was one of my favorite toys as a kid. I tried to save up for Switchblade (Venom and his ride), but they were always sold out.
I just gotta go back and buy these ( was going to say again, but thats not really how i got them the first time)...maybe paint eyes on the figures, but these things were awesome, and I would half transform my g1 transformers to make Mask like alt vehicles anyway, so why not just get these :)

last year there were rumors that Hasbro will be reissuing the M.A.S.K toys along with 6" scale GI JOEs, anyone knows anything about it?
