Bobby Blue Bland, a great blues singer. My favorite songs are, Don’t Cry No More, After It’s Too Late, Call On Me, Share Your Love With Me, and Ain’t Nothing You Can Do.
Thanks for highlighting Bobby Blue Bland.. I'm what you young people call a Old-Head. I grew up in a house hold where Bobby Blue Bland was played as a kid in the 50's.When my folks would have a party ,he was always spinning on the record player..as my folks & friends danced & partied. So I always associate his smooth vocals with my parents generation & the good times they had with friends & family..But as a adult, Bobby Blue Bland had a resurgence & a come back with his 1980's album Sweet Vibration ,which was a hit with the maturing Baby Boom generation which I was a part. It was released on vinyl which I had, & was a big success & introduced a whole new generation to this Blues genius. In 1990 he did another album called Bobby Bland ( Here We Go Again) which for me was a Master Piece.& one of my favorite cuts among other was Is This The Blues; this time the album was released on CD which I have to this day. If you want to check out some cuts on these two album they are here on Y.T.
Bobby Blue Bland. I have mostly all of his records. I can't name them all because they're too numerous. I always considered him a blues crooner. Bobby Bland and B.B. King recording the two live albums were phenomenal. Keep them coming man.
I can remember fondly seeing Mr. Bobby Blue Bland, along with BB King in concert together in the 80s. Really enjoyed it! Thanks for showcasing, Mr. Bobby Blue Bland.🌹Grew up listening to his music, seeing that my father was a true blues fan. Also, with various house parties, his cuts were played. My favorite songs by him were: Stormy Monday, I Smell Trouble, Little Boy Blue, That's The Way Love Is, Ain't Nothing You Can Do, Ain't No Love In The City and others. Visualizing him singing and making that snort sound he was known for. Thanks, WBPTV. 🎶🎼🎵
Thanks so much for your presentation on one of the most important Blues and Soul artistes. Shoes was the song I used to dance to during my Northern Soul nights but he did so much amazing material
My favourite BB songs are Shoes' Yum yum tree, Sweet lips of joy, Hands small but mighty and I aint myself anymore. Powerhouse of a singer, nice video too.

How many great Blues-men are left? It's tragic that once these men are gone, the genre dies with them.
All of them
My favorite, Bobby Bland song, would have to be, When I Leave, This Time Make Sure It’s Understood, This Time I’m Gons For Good!!!

Nice 😊
You should do one about Marvin Sease
Where the heck is Don't Cry No More, my favorite song?
I wonder how he got through the army without a formal education?
He had street smarts and knew how to navigate. There were a lot without formal education within the arm services back then.
The Anthology and sitting on poor man's throne and them sad street.
