It was so nice to log on to TH-cam and see you ladies talking about how you got started. I am 65 years old and I'm just starting to learn how to quilt by watching Mrs. Sherri videos. If I can only get my seam on point that will make me happy. But I will keep trying. Sherri it brings me great joy to see you and your daughter doing this together. I lost my only daughter in 2018 two weeks before hurricane Michael came to Florida and we were close just like you both. Keep up the good job Mom and daughter.

This has been my favorite podcast that you have done. I always wondered about how your journey evolved to where it is today. I have followed Sherri since the days of doing samples for Joanna. When Joanna made that sailboat quilt and her book came out was when I became completely hooked on quilting. Mix that with Kimberly’s quilting tutorials on Fat Quarter Shop videos and I went from sewing squares together to Joanna’s intermediate BOM programs. Whenever I needed guidance or inspiration to continue, I went to your blog. Which was a lot in the beginning! I am grateful for your steady, reliable and clear content. It always helped me to forge ahead back then. I’m not sure if you are aware that you were giving virtual pats on the back and inspiration of where a person could aspire to go, but you did that for me. Thank you!

I just have to say "you both are AMAZING"!!! Like Billy said "Chelsi, just let the results of that first pattern go". We all learn, grow & get better over the years. I've been sorting, culling, etc my stash & came across some old Thimbleberries blocks from when we had the club at our local fabric shop & oh my, those points, larger than 1/4" seams among other things 🤣😂 I was embarrassed to look at them!! haha I told my husband, "wow, I've come a long way!!" Plus I was lucky enough to attend numerous retreats & I learned something new at EVERY one.

I just have to say "you both are AMAZING"!!! Like Billy said "Chelsi, just let the results of that first pattern go". We all learn, grow & get better over the years. I've been sorting, culling, etc my stash & came across some old Thimbleberries blocks from when we had the club at our local fabric shop & oh my, those points, larger than 1/4" seams among other things 🤣😂 I was embarrassed to look at them!! haha I told my husband, "wow, I've come a long way!!" Plus I was lucky enough to attend numerous retreats & I learned something new at EVERY one.

The most successful people I know take opportunities when they are presented! And you definitely hit while the iron was hot!!! It is so obvious from my viewpoint that you three just 'sync' and while I know it is work on your side it appears so natural and effortless on the viewing side. In my opinion, it because you are doing 'yourselves' which makes you so relatable to your viewers. I continue to learn from you and your expertise and I always look forward to the next podcast. On the subject of pillows- try stuffing the corners with polyester fiber fill or scrapes of batting to make the corners perkier
