    The following is literally the easiest and most secure way to become an Army Aviator Warrant->commission (do well in order of merit while attaining a commission)->branch Aviation ->serve out your LT time -> drop a packet to resign your commission and go Warrant in Aviation branch. You will start out as a W-2 from the get go and retain your highest pay until you surpass it going through Warrant Officer ranks.

    I have always said that the military should take people who have stem A.S degrees or certs and let them come in as warrants. The street ti seat is an awesome idea. If you get a master electrician off the street he should go straight to warrant because he is already a master at his craft he just need to learn basic military structure. If someone with a degree can go straight to being an officer someone like a master electrician or someone with a cybr cert should be able to come straight in as a warrant.

      Wooowww!!! man he had to just been trying to run game on you, as you see there definitely is a program and is highly used in the pilot world. Now if we were talking "Direct Commission" (which is essentially the same thing) they really tightened back down on that.

    My daughter was accepted into this program and is currently in bootcamp and then goes straight to warrant officer candidate school. Some people say that they get a hard time from others in the coarse for doing it this way because they haven't "done their time" in the Army and then applying. Is this true?

    • @RobthaBlak
      @RobthaBlak  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That's one of those it depends on the individual. Some won't care some will, but after she has been in for a bit,(and keeps her mouth closed on how she did it) no-one will care. Actually she will be an outlier to the other warrants over time. She will be fine, the Warrant world is a pretty tight group.

    Question is, do you go through just any recruiter for this?
    I also heard that a lot of changes went through for WOCS. Would love to hear some information on that. Integration day, "f'-f'" games, pointless smoke sessions, etc.

      I've been trying to catch up with some guys who graduated in the last year who are in my command but just haven't had a chance to.
      From the few things I overheard, is that the overall is still the same, however something did change. I have to find out exactly what it is.
      Butt if its one of things that you should just experience, then I wont put it out.

      Honestly, that’s a good question. There might be a time. You have to wait before you’re eligible to resubmit your packet. I know a couple candidates that went and got PRK for their eyes and had to wait at least 3 to 6 months until it was healed to put their packet in, that was for Warrant. It might be the same thing. Whoever you put your packet in through ask them if there is a waiting period.

    High Rob, I've been very interested the in WOFT program. I served 5 years AD in the Navy and got out as an e5. I did my job and went home and got the average evals that accompanied that. 1. Does the street to seat program apply to me now that I'm civilian? 2. How competive would my resume be? I've seen a lot of info online about dropping a packet and having all sort of letters of recommendation from WO's and that sort of stuff and I don't know a single one. I live in a foreign country at the moment so I can't just go to a local base and try to get acquainted. I'm going to get started on the process regardless but im just curious, thanks! Have a great day!

      Honestly your best bet would be to talk to a recruiter. Actually you will have through a recruiter. They will know the latest on the regulations and what is required from street to seat. For flight its def gonna be different, but people do it all the time.

      It depends on which MOs you’re trying to go into. I think flight is still a lot easier and also Cyber I believe. Not sure about all of the other ones but a lot more confident on these two.

    Good Afternoon Sir, I have a question regarding this program because I have a unique situation when it comes to this route. A little over 2 years ago I was in the process of joining the Army as a 11b but ultimately DEP discharged because I felt as though I was rushing things straight out of high school and believed I likely would have been unhappy with that job. I have now been in College for the past 2 years and am doing quite well but want more out of life. What are the chances I could ever join the army again, let alone get an opportunity at this program? Thank you for your time!

    • @RobthaBlak
      @RobthaBlak  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Now for that deep into the weeds on going aviator I don't have an answer to that. All I know is that I think the numbers are still low for aviators so selection shouldn't be that bad. You need SIFT and Flight physical and ASVAB.

      It depends on what you want to do and what the needs of the Army. For example, if the army needs a lot of transportation warrant officers, then they will open street to seat up. However, if you’re over the original enlistment age, then I’m not sure.
