I would say merfolk instead of mermaids, which only applies to girls, making it feel like people think men cant be mermaids, despite the fact that all mermaid videos on yt now like this are ONLY girls, which is completely unfair to men in my case

May I ask, what would you think of removing the doll's lower legs to give the tail a more fluid movement like a fish or a dolphin? What would you think might make a good filler to replace? I've watched a tutorial where the artist removed the legs and sculpted the tail. It made the doll for display purposes only bit it still looked amazing
Have you given any thought to sawing off the feet at the ankles? It could make it a little more stream lined. Bit I can see why not if you want to keep them as intact as possible. I loooooove your videos and ideas. You are so creative and talented!!!!

You'd probably have to pad out the legs with air-dry clay or Apoxie sculpt or something

Hmmmm you gave me an idea. Making a monster high dress form using the plastic wrap and tape method?
I used the tape method the make layouts/blue prints (idk the real term) for making clothes for my dolls and it worked great
