Is ableton really worth it? I have a mac book pro for djing. Should i save up and buy another comp or should i use the macbook for production? I use an older computer right now and I use fruitloops 10 lol off of windows vista. the old shit
if you're just starting production , macbook will work fine. And plus point FL is coming for mac too this year , so just wait for the update. I believe FL is better than ableton , but it's up too you which interface you are comfortable with. PS: Ableton sucks xD

I didn't say he wasn't a "boss" but why do you act so surprised that two producers/remixers that practically produce in the same genre know each other? I wasn't comparing him to Dre in the sense of music or skill. It would be more of a shock to see a producer like Dre or Timbaland having a relationship with Reid is what I'm saying.
That gritty sound from using Complex Pro is because of the Warp's Formant option being on 100 for anyone wondering. That can make all kinds of shit get wild.
