Hello good morning from Citrus Heights
I went to see Jo Koy live at the Improv in Addison Texas (Dallas). The venues AC broke down. He had a set the he could not go through because it was too damn hot. There was a large black man in front fanning himself with a menu. Jo went ahead and used this situation to improvise the most hillarious stand up comedy show i’ve ever been. Everyone in the room, even himself could not stop laughing so hard. We all almost die of a heat stroke but Jo saved the night.
As a Vietnamese person, that Vietnamese accent bit was spot on! LMAO 😂

I never realized it but he’s SO right about the _ACCENTS_ 🤣 you can actually kinda tell apart the staff and guess where they’re from when they speak to patients. They’re all super hardworking too. I love my teams 🥰 Everyone jumps right in to help each other and learn from each other.

Took my ex to see him at a casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We had meet and greet passes. Excited to meet one of my favorite comedians. Usher misinformed me and said meet and greet was after the show. Turns out my pass was for the beginning of the show because there was two. Security wouldn't let us meet him because of it. One of his friends saw what was going on and convinced them to ask Jo if we can still come in to meet him. Jo said it was okay and I got to meet him in the flesh. Awesome guy.

I made a mistake of watching Jokoy while at work on my phone w/ earphones, I was holding my laughter so hard that I thought I was going to have a heart attack. So hilariously funny. He's my favorite!
This killed me 😂😂😂 one time, (well, more than once 😆, I was in class and it was one of those teachers who put up a slideshow but literally just read it verbatim. Everytime I would put in my earbuds, pull my hood up, and just copy from the board. I'm a moron, so of course I totally forgot people could hear me, and I would crack up every couple minutes. I finally felt someone staring at me and looked up to see the entire class looking back and forth from me to the teacher. I looked at he was just standing there, completely silent, death glaring me. I love how Josep mentions his Korean friend's father as asking if he was hungry. I grew up with Japanese friends in a huge family, all from Hawaii. They fed everyone constantly. I loved going to their house because you never knew what delicious food you'd be lucky enough to eat. I used to help the mama clean her house and did some ironing for her and she always fed me. It's the same in Korea. They are wonderful at offering food when you visit them.

I've been watching Jo Koy since Chelsea's TV show and he's never been discriminatory against anybody in my humble opinion. He doesn't need to hurt or cause problems in order to make people laugh and that's admirable.
