Jahannah, I envy your experience only slightly less than I envy my own grandmother's experience at Giza. She visited long before there was an entire city nearby. She was taken to see the pyramids under a full moon. They travelled the last distance by camel, and she remained awed her entire life by as she described it, the inky black sky full of stars and the moon rising over the pyramids, the sphinx, the deafening silence and how the moonlight turned the rolling dunes of the desert into waves upon a silent sea!

The original head was a Lion’s head said to represent the constellation Leo. The Sphinx is much older than scientists would have people believe but they won’t acknowledge it because it throws off the excepted timeline of our modern day interpretation of existence.

There's so much true information that's been covered up/obfuscated for so long that it's nearly impossible to get enough people interested in pushing for revisions of 100 year old theories on how/who built the entire Giza plateau and it's megaliths! It's a shame that we've been fed lies and BS, but the worst thing about it is the apathy of the average people who still believe the lies! And there is equal evidence or lack of, to both prove and disprove the Tin Foil Hat brigade.
      Ancient Aliens, really?
If we don't know how something was made, do you say "God Made it"?
This is how it used to be..
But now, it's all down to Grey dudes and anti gravity. 👽👍
Both are flawed due to lack of real evidence in any direction.
The Sphinx has been ransacked, vandalized, bored into and under for centuries by both
looters and so called archaeologists. What is left to see is a complete mess with hardly
      any historical value.

    • @klingonsexy
      @klingonsexy ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@Gary-Seven-and-Isis-in-1968 I don't claim to know for certain how any of the ancient megaliths, artifacts, or languages were created, nor by whom. Others postulate theories and, if those are not irrevocably debunked, claim that they are absolutely true, which is obfuscation of the truth. I examine all of the theories and favor the most logical, but keep an open mind for any new scientific evidence, unlike many mainstream archeologists. Anyone who states they know the truth is either lying or has a time machine!

I saw a geologist’s video where he estimated the wear to be about 36,000 years and it was probably large enough to have survived the global flood. I have never believed that the head was pharaonic- it was a lion’s head that was damaged and the stub was subsequently carved by a later generation.

Apparently there are a lot of natural rock formations, hoodoos, in the desert around the Nile valley that have sphinx-like shapes. There may have been a significant cult of mystics who influenced Egyptian culture based on these features. Don Juan, the shaman supposedly talked about how when the mind sees a shape reminiscent of an identifiable object or being (especially in poor light, like at dusk or dawn), we sometimes see that object or animal clearly before we look closer and realize it is just an interesting erosion feature. His mystical perspective was that it was that thing you saw and only changed to rugged stone after a process in your mind. While that seems completely backwards to us now, it could have caused ancients to put rock to chisel.

It would make so much sense if let's say the younger dryas event would be finally recognized as a true cataclysmic event - flooding, after that water slowly resets and the new comers inhabitation follows the Nile, even to this day. And I'd imagine if the major flood started from northern caps as Randle suggests, by the time they come down to this region of the world, it did not have enough power to wash away everything...
And I'd imagine that one of the processes that would make the water levels drop is evaporation because it is equator thus it's safe to assume it still would be hot eventually... and thus it starts raining = over time the water erosion on the enclosure of the sphinx.
    Just a thought ;D

Thank you so much for this video. Visited the place one month ago and you can hardly even take a photo from behind of the Sphinx.
    Love your videos and exitement!
Will be travelling to Egypt later this year. Thank you.

This is a really great video. The morning shots had a noticeable quietness about them. The hole in the Sphinx’ arse with the bifurcated tunnels(sounds painful) I’ve never seen on video. I would be geeking out too. Thanks for posting 👍

I was so excited as a young child about the possibility of ancient civilisations growing and dying out over the 100,000s of years of Homo Sapiens history. This was "educated" out of me and by the time I was an adult I had completely lost the idea and the enthusiasm for the theory. I'm so glad I can teach my children the power of critical thinking so they can potentially avoid making the same mistake.
