thank you, this video was more useful than the university lecture
can you tell me which version of CSI detail works with etab version 20.3.0? because I have CSI detail 20 doesn't work
Great sir
what is the reason for providing positive moment steel in top position. Since it is not required. and construction point of view it increases the steel cost.
Since i am not placing torsional steel in beams as i modified beam's torsional stifness to nominal amount so slab has to absorb almost all negative and positive moment due to surface loads acting on slab . Hence top steel for negative moment is important here.
@@EngineeringLearningPlatform I am asking top steel for positive moment.i.e steel in top centre
@@hariasssss yes you can neglect that and curtail bar at L/3 from support . Since no need for extending bar beyond L/3 but in most cases cutting cost crosses the cost of steel so we dont curtail and let steel be there . But you are right that is the right thing to do
@@EngineeringLearningPlatform I requested a small help from you for me.please check ur gmail.
Normally, we are using the property modifier to analyzing purpose only. If we are doing the design part, On that time we need to take consider about the ultimate load condition. Am i correct?
Ultimate loads are in loads combinations already incorporated
Please explain How to do water tank design in Etabs?
Its simply similar to retaining wall design, will be uploading soon .
@@EngineeringLearningPlatform please can you post full design video for either water tank or retaining wall in Etabs.your way of explanation is super good.
@@hariasssss Sure . I'll start working on it . AND THANKYOU
Please provide report with detailing
sir why are you not using indian standards it would be very useful
ACI code is international code used in many countries, including arabian countries, and even in many asian countries . Indian code is also more or less similar only material level formulas are slight different, but end results are more or less near
in my etabs i dnt have concete slab design preference option how can i turn it on
Install 16.2.1
how can i get the list in pdf for stiffness modifiers ??
@@EngrArslanKausar take a screenshot . Or use aci code chapter 10
you gave torsional constant modifier 10% and not 1%, which is wrong...
I would really love a reference
where is the detailing brother?
